WebDock & HDMI app ??

Please don't shout at me if this is a dumb question but now I'm successfully running CM7 on my Atrix, i'm soooooo happy but on the stock ROM that was installed it had a neat app that as soon as I plugged the HDMI cable into the phone it automatically displayed a really nice media control interface for me to control what I wanted to view on the TV..

Is there anything like that for CM7, if not I'd be really interested to know how others are getting around this ???? Also does CM7 work in a webdock ?

Is there any way to fix market? It keeps force closing. Other than that, everything is ok. I need to download some apps but it loads and a few seconds later, it FC's. I installed gapps, fixed permissions, tried clearing the market app data, but it keeps force closing. Any solution? Thanks.

i have read that the fix is to set your language in your settings menu. forgot my atrix at home so i cant remember where exactly it is

In the "Install CM7 beta" section... how do I install it from recovery? Do I have to extra the zip file first?

issues with text puls

i installed CM7 a few days ago. i have been using it for two days. i was texting my frind who uses text plus on her ipod. i went out for a run(did not take my phone) and when i returned i was not able to recieve her texts. i thought maybe it was text plus but i put it on my extra phone (andriod) and i was not able to send myself texts despite being able to send them to my brothers phone. same with her ipod. she could send them to anyone else but i would not get them. what might have caused this? it went on for over a day. i could not get her texts up untill i dopped the phone a day later. i ended up sending it in to get it replaced. i can still get texts from other phones.

APN's

I live in an alleged H+ area (NYC Metro)... What APN should I be using? CM7 only loaded me with one, where as previous rom's have had multiple APN's.

Been trying the iPlayer app but it's not working properly. Have tried googling etc but I can't find any mention of the same problems so I dunno if it's phone specific or what.

When I start a video, the little channel jingle plays fine, but once the actual programme starts, the video is all scrambled. Audio is fine throughout. If I exit fullscreen the video then looks fine and I can reenter fs, but if I do, the controls at the bottom stay visible forever. If I seek, the video becomes scrambled again.
Anyone experienced similar?

This is on a T-Mobile UK Atrix with CM7 as provided.

Interesting development. I have a default ring tone set and a ringtone set for my wife's call. For some reason, a song that isn't in the ringtone storage area plays periodically as the ringtone.

CM7, zedge ringtones, music player is PlayerPro and the first listed song in that player is the song that periodically sounds as the ringtone. All music is placed in a folder on the /emmc mount. Zedge and system ringtones are on SDCard.

Can't find any settings that would trigger this. Short of unistalling PlayerPro, any thoughts or ideas that I might be overlooking? Even the obvious may be helpful.

hi guys.. just flashed the beta to my atrix.. then i wiped data cache and powered it up. now it just replays the boot logo over and over.. any ideas?

install Romracer's newest recovery, and then clear dalvik/cache/data again and reinstall CM7.

just do a backup and then try it! if it works report back!
i think cm7.1 is 2.3.7 which i don't believe we have yet. so it might work but might not.
it should once we get out of beta

so i downloaded the cm7 file to computer did not extract or unzip it and just dragged and dropped the zip to sd card to copy to internal storage. but cwm does not see the file .. do i need to extract the files while on my phone into beta folder or on my computer first then drag and drop then copy to internal storage?

Tried, i think its just a skin. I believe that lockscreen is a new option in the newer builds for CM7 that we don't have yet. Something to look forward to!

the MIUI lockscreen works but the orange slider its too short for the atrix display
u need to go cyanongenmod settings - lockscreen - style option - lockscreen style and change it to lense.

the stock CM7 icons on the sliding tab and rotaty lock screen are amazing after the MIUI lockscreen mod.

I understand that CWM will definitely see the zip IF it is in the correct folder. When you were drag/dropping from pc what folder did you drop it in. I think it can go in the root and download folders of either the internal or external sdcard.

There are install options for both locations on the first and second recovery screens.

Anyone know if they plan on incorporating an "Entertainment Center" type app in CM7? I am loving beta, and I know they are working on HDMI Mirroring and Webtop, but what about Entertainment Center? Loved being able to play videos and show pics straight from phone via HDMI. Thanks.
