cyanogenmod 9 - Aplha 14.. Image load Problem

I have installed cyanogenmod 9 (Alpha 14). Everything is working fine except some UI lagging as described in bugs.
one more issue I am facing is the time it takes to load an image. e.g image load for contact for incoming call or few games like 4 picture 1 word or any where the image is loaded inside some application component (not talking abt HTML pages here), the time taken for image load is really significant. It even took 2 mins for icon sized images. sometimes 40-50 seconds to detect contact name and load image for the same.

is it the case with everyone? Any turnaround for caching or pre-fetching of the same to make it faster?

im ok with cm9 alpha 14, the only thing is that some youtube videos doesnt show corectly, could you please tell me how to fix this ?

Dude, why don't u try CM10 (stable) or CM10.1 (experimental)? Many issues have been fixed including the problem u mentioned.

My Galaxy SL Dont Making backup

My galaxy SL dont making nandroid backup every time i reboot to recovery and select backup.The backup starts but afterwards stuck on any system file plz Help ! and how can i directly boot to recovery bcoz when i want to enter in the recovery mode i run cwm app in my phone. ! is there a way to direct enter cwm without open cwm app !
