Depends on how you have it configured. if you have Google services installed and it supports NFC, it should work. There are other issues if the phone is rooted that could still prevent the app from working.
This is the thing that worries me.. I was thinking of getting the Mi 10 Pro from Giztop. It's the CN variant flashed with Global ROM. My issue is that Google pay or some of my banking apps might not work because of the unlocked bootloader. I read that relocking the CN variant with Global ROM will brick my device..

Anyone that has flashed EU Global to China version, I'm getting reports that it disables 2nd SIM? Is this correct?
I am not sure why it would disable that as the Mi 10 Pro Global Edition also has dual sim capabilities.

Where did you read that? I have had several Xiaomi and Redmi phones and that has never been an issue. Please let us know where you read that. Was it just someone's opinion because it bricked after they screwed things up or was it a real report?

The only actual global models I’ve seen are single nano sim 256GB / 8 GB. Also it was mentioned in the flashing post someone put together in another thread. Just wanting to see if anyone had done it and could confirm?

I have just got my Pro from giztop.

It looks like they have flashed the global version. But I can not sign in to google!!!!!

It says "this device was reset, to continue, sign in with a google account"
I don't know there account details.
And if I hold vol up and start I get the MI recovery 3 in chinese...
Anyway around this?

What version of TWRP did you use? I am using the one on the Xiaomi.eu site, but when I try to flash a Xiaomi.eu rom (based on China roms, but with Google services), I get an eror 7, I have tried to go into the updater script and edit it, but still run into the same problem. Looking for an answer to what is probably a very simple question.

You're getting error 7 ,because your Handy is encrypted.
Try to format Data , reboot to TWRP , install Rom.
If this do not work , you need to install the original Rom and boot to system.
Then go through the install-process and give it a pin-number.
Then reboot to fastboot and install twrp.img again.Rename twrp_cmi.img to
twrp.img first.Be sure your bootloader is open.Reboot to twrp and insert your pin.
Format Data and reboot to twrp.Install Xiaomi.eu Rom.If you install Miui 11 , do not install
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10Pro_V11.0.17.0 because your camera will not work.
Install xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10Pro_V11.0.16.0 and all will be fine

If you need to reopen the bootloader after flashing the original Rom , do it and do not
reboot to fastboot.Reboot to system and do the install-process with pin-number which is needed by twrp to decrypt the phone.

Hello guys...

I'm afraid I've bricked my CN device by accidentally let MiFlashTool lock the bootloader after flashing the fastboot EEA-ROM.
And it won't boot up now...
I can boot into stock recovery or fastboot mode.
Why can't I just recover the original CN ROM from the recovery??
The Mi PC suite is useless. It doesn't detect the USB connection...
Problem is known for years now!
So is there anything else I can try? :fingers-crossed:

Thank you, guys!

Don't worry, it can be fixed. You need to open the back cover of the phone. Then you can put the phone in EDL mode by test point located in the main board. That's the easy part. Then you need someone with an authorized account to flash stock rom to your phone. Its really hard to find such a guy. (by chance if you are in Bulgaria I can help)

If you can boot into fastboot, you can easily bring this phone back using a fastboot rom and the MiFlash tool. Make sure to use the correct fastboot rom for your model (Chinese vs EEA). No need to mess with hardware. Just download the two above to your PC, unzip the fastboot rom, and you will be back up and running in minutes. If you have questions, there are plenty of how to videos throughout the web.

... but all these methods do need an open bootloader. But mine is locked now. And in Mi Flash Pro it tells me, my device is on EEA ROM 11.0.9 and it won't let me flash the original CN ROM onto the device. It keeps telling me, it's the wrong firmware.
In Mi Flash it starts flashing but after a few seconds it stops with an error message, "erase not allowed in locked state" or something like that...

As i Said you need to go to EDL mode by the test point on the main board. Unfortunately i can't find any topic for this yet.
Last phone that I opened, It was shown originally, so I played a lot and found the test point by myself. If you make a picture, I can give you few hints which might be two points.

Thanks, but for sure I won't open the device. I hopefully learned something from it...

Chinese CMI device dual SIM.
Unlocked, flash recovery. Wiped data
Flashed Miui 12 eu latest beta.
Boom all works fine not a single issue until now.
Atutu recorded 600k plus as attached
Is that for the Pro version?

If so. Can you link me to the twrp and rom as I may need it if giztop doesn't get back to me.
