Make sure to remove subs overlays before flashing or flash the subs rescue zip in TWRP. I'm assuming you had overlays active when updating.

That was it, thank you!

This rom or AICP ?

Haven't tried AICP, but I was on liquid before this ROM. Phoenix had a few more customization options, seemed to be more stable and I got better battery life on Phoenix.

Just my .02¢. Your mileage may vary.

I understand my friend. Are you able to explain how the busybox module won't work unless there is a xbin folder in system then?

Not w/out seeing what you are flashing.

camera really sucks on this rom, even with gcam modded and magisk module activated. so much stuttering. you are right though, rom is really fast

Try the attached. It installs gcam mod as a system app (/system/priv-app). It behaves much better on my phone.

Facing some weired issue..
Cleared data,cache etc.
Flashed rom, gapps(nano), firmware, Booted back to TWRP(blue spark) to keep it safe
Booted rom... Added pin and finger print
rebooted back to TWRP to flash magisk but in login it is asking for password to decrypt.. I tried entering pin but it's not working
I can't access sdcard folder .. There are some folders in sdcard folder with random text but nothing in it.
Please help...

Are you talking about the camera stuttering or the UI? Everyone in here saying this is the fastest and most polished ROM for this device yet the UI lag and stuttering was so annoying that 20 minutes of use was all I could take. And how is having a non removable search bar on the home screen that doesn't work polished?

I realize as with all ROMs it is a work in progress, but I found the 011718 AICP that I flashed right after this one to be much better in terms of fit, finish and performance.

No stuttering whatsoever on the last two builds. I am even running AKT on battery profile and not once has the UI lagged or stuttered

Definitely the camera and the UI is stuttering.also rom development is discontinued, so no need for flashing

Try this. If it doesn't work you have to wipe internal data as you won't be able to read what's on the sdcard since you can't decrypt it. You will lose everything that's on your sdcard

Easy, look for the busybox module within magisk manager ?

I'll give it a look. The only time you really 'need' a module like that is if you are running a stock ROM that requires an untouched system to grab ota's. On a custom aosp rom, you are better off installing the app from the store. You will get binary updates straight away w/out having to rely on someone to update a module.

Unless there have been two builds since I flashed it two days ago it definitely lags like crazy and was the main reason I got rid of it after no more than 10 minutes. Everytime a menu opened in settings and the initial scroll lagged whether it was up or down.

Ya no doubt i wasn't planning on flashing it again, I wasn't as impressed with this as I was AICP which I flashed right after. I'm back on 4.7.6 and am done flashing ROMs until Oreo is released and it isn't such a hassle two switch back and forth. I have a rock solid setup with good backups and I'm tired of formatting data and wiping the entire phone, I've done enough of that in the last 3 days to last a lifetime.

Is there a new update? On telegram it's 15.4?

Given the devs track record an update should probably be out sometime this week or the next at the latest, just my guestimate.

    Is CNP dead?

Nah, it's just in a good hibernation period . I don't know, no updates for a month now.

Do you guys think if there's still hope for an update of this ROM? It's been a month... Hopefully it's not dead:(

Wish there was a way to know if there will be an update!

The ROM is not dead. I had a word with siankatabg and he told me that he's already worked on a new build that he's running at the moment. The only issue is that he doesn't really have free time for anything these days, but he'll do another release before he goes for vacation next week. :) Cheers!
