Amazing ROM. Kernel is also quite nice. Great work to the dev team!! I switched my camera to the latest Beta2 and portrait works great on rear camera. HDR working nicely as well with no post processing issues. Very pleased with battery life and doze. All around awesome work. I would like to have the circled battery but not a deal breaker.

Somehow I cant get portrait to work with that.

Could you link apk plus share your settings ?

Some apps are showing with black bars on the bottom of the screen and sometimes get an invisible nav bar when in expanded desktop mode bit otherwise a very nice ROM. Very snappy and responsive.

Well I'm sure you know where the camera links are so my settings on 1.5Beta2 are:

Model: Pixel 2017 Zsl HDR no PD
HDR+: PIXEL 2
HDR+: default

Enable Portrait mode in settings restart and profit ??. I'll note that Portrait more seems to work only on people and not objects but the pics are stunning. Even standard pics and the front camera is working well.

Here's a better thread so you don't have to look through so much. Easier referencing.

Yeah that's odd, cause I tried that and it just does not do anything for me. Is it creating the two pictures for you ? Or just one ?

This ROM has out of the box support for google camera v4 and the modded gcam. Autofocus and HDR+ works on the default google camera that comes with the ROM and its pretty fast (unlike the newer port). I didnt have to install any additional magisk mods to make the gcam port (arnova 1.5) work with portrait mode and hdr+

Hey, forgive me for missing this if it's obviously placed - but where/how can I swap the back/recents buttons? Can't seem to see the option in buttons etc.

Been reading a lot about this rom, I might try it out but quick question.

Portrait mode is important and so is the camera. So there are versions of google camera that work with this rom and even oos camera sorta for hdr and portrait?

Also can someone attach some screenshots of the overall ui I have no idea what it looks like. Stock android but better?

Here's a couple screenies of some settings. It has a lot of options the same as or pulled from Validus, Omni, LOS, and other LOSS/AOSP based Roms. It has privacy settings from nougat LOS, now called App Ops, which you can limit apps from Auto starting at boot, keeping awake, and running in background. It has navigation Smartbar and Fling, originally from Dirty Unicorn Roms. Screen off gestures, status bar settings, lockscreen, and more. Give it a try. You'll like it.

Thanks, I'll most likely give it a go later today. That's a lot of features I've never played with ?

Is there a new update? On telegram it's 15.4?

Given the devs track record an update should probably be out sometime this week or the next at the latest, just my guestimate.

    Is CNP dead?

Nah, it's just in a good hibernation period . I don't know, no updates for a month now.

Do you guys think if there's still hope for an update of this ROM? It's been a month... Hopefully it's not dead:(

Wish there was a way to know if there will be an update!

The ROM is not dead. I had a word with siankatabg and he told me that he's already worked on a new build that he's running at the moment. The only issue is that he doesn't really have free time for anything these days, but he'll do another release before he goes for vacation next week. :) Cheers!
