COL Reminder 3.3.3 doesn't work properly on MIUI 9.2.10

I just updated to Stable Global 9.2.10. The phone isn't rooted and the bootloader isn't unlocked.

COL Reminder used to work just fine on MIUI 8.2.10, but now it just wakes up the phone when a reminder is activated. There's no sound, LED light or notification icon. When I enter the PIN to access the home screen (Nova), the reminder is there.

Any suggestions?
