Hello , I’ve got my 8227L unit on my vw polo and it confuses me lately. When it is cold or in the morning, the unit doesn’t Switch on , during the day it goes on but will stop responding while playing songs via Bluetooth. Also it says “android stopped working “ and etc. what might be the cause can a firmware update solve this issues, please see attached photos for the model number for any firmware recommendations

I just noticed that xyauto released another updates in February.
● Another pack of 26 themes.

In other folders of 92xx Series you can find
● official system patch for logo selector probably its a fix if someone missing car logos (like in my case after lastest 7.3.7 update)
●updates of the Zlink3_3.9.48 app if anyone uses it.

There is also a new v7.3.8 firmeware release with newest online canbus, 26themes and zlink5, etc included, but only for a few models 9210A, 9210B, 9211B. No hi-fi, 1024x600 Display.

YT9211B_xyauto_v7.3.8

It would be great if they would finally upgrade android api to 28level, but its doubtful.

Those themes are for xyauto headunits.
You have to upload this package via usb flash drive, thru 'android upgrade' if your headunit have a 'car settings' as in the attached picture.
When usb flash drive with package is inserted 'android upgrade becomes active.

Ps. What do you mean about 'A12' version? I haven't heard of it. Any links?

Nevermind i made confusion with xy auto repository. I have an xtron model so this themes should not work.... Got curious,though, with A12 firmware...

I tested firmware of all models on my Yt9216bj.

Some models have different radio/sound chipsets, so the volume control may be different, or there may be no sound at all.

it's best to make backup of your current system.
because the original system is quite uniquely matched.
Those updates are quite generalized and often is bit different than original even for the same model.

yes, I confirm. On my 9218dh, almost all 92xx firmwares worked fine as an android system, but I have a dsp chip, so the sound did not work, or the sound only played for a few seconds and then died down. Either the device heated up more, or it reacted slowly. But android still worked. Try - mistake. Do everything at your own risk, create backups!

I also tried to install manually both apk from package, the launcher works but the themes app (to change ui) crashes....

My unit is YT9216B with latest firmware

I don't remember at the moment, but I don't think you need to unpack this package. try with zip without unpacking it

Do not unpack the file. Put the zip/rar file on the usb and restart the main unit. The android upgrade button should be active. It worked for me
