Saluti, di recente ho acquistato una radio Android su aliexpress e ha queste caratteristiche

So if any of you folks bought your no name Chinese head unit recently and then discovered that it has all the said issues like fake Android and sound controls not working etc; ask the seller to give you some refund if you are willing to live with your unit as is until some newer update is available that may or may not fix the issues. I managed to get a £15 refund from the Ebay seller after exchanging several messages so give it a go!

Hi everyone, I just went through the whole discussions on this thread (long one

) and saw there are a lot of helping posts. Hope to get a help for my issue

I bought a generic HU 8227L, the specs are below:

Android: YT9218DH_AHD_00006_V004_20191223_DSP_HIFI
System: Android 8.1 Go XY AUTO: 3.2 (8227L)
CAN Pro: 3.0 (8227L)
DDR: 1G FLASH: 32G
Type of CPU: A7 1.3GHz x 4
Frequency: AC7315 MOS Cholera 50W x 4
Resolution: 1024*600
MCU1: 3.1 (8227L)

Is there any update to be done? if yes, any link?
Is there a way to have RDS on the radio?

I've made tons of searches on google and here as well, but nothing found for the version I have.

P.S: My car is a Peugeot 2008 (year 2017)

What an awesome resource. Hope it is well used and appreciated. Sadly, not good for me as I have a YT9217B. How on earth did you come across that, if I may ask? Asked only to explore if it can be adapted to find something similar for mine. Feel free to PM for privacy if you wish.

I complained to the ebay supplier of my head unit and not only managed to get part of my money back but he also sent me this link. Unfortunately it does not have any newer software for my head unit though because the one that works is the same as what is already installed on my unit. On the same server there are however hundreds of other files for trade account holders but with the username and password that I was sent, there is no access to the trade account. It would be great if someone can get the trade account login because that would offer much more possibilities!

Man, this is a huge success. Vendors charge additional fees even for Android Version

I want to update

Hello,
I am trying to update my Chinese Android headunit 10.1”. The specs were fake saying its android 10 but i have checked with some apps on playstore and its android 8.1 go. I have uploaded pictures. I have tried putting android 9 and 10 firmwares on usb but But my android headunit never detects update file i never get update option. In the settings update software and MCU options are grey out can’t be clicked API level is 23.
I will upload all details about headunit.
Can anyone help with updating to newer version.

I found my firmware. but i cant figure out what file is need to change to so it will read it as updated file.

I follow the instruction from Ighostsgunnaz, but his files are a 8227L.bin and 8227L.upd
the file content on the xygala.com is zip files: unzipped file: -->UI_92133AJ-hw-v6.5 launcher
list name file within zip contents: arm2.bin, boot.img, cache.img,logo.bin, metazon.bin.recovery.img , etc

I think you have the same HeadUnit as me.
Can you direct a step by step for what i need to do:

I think there are a number of guides here but if you have api 29 you shouldn't change anything because probably the ones on the ftp server are either the same or older. I have api23 on my HU and the newer versions available can't be installed without using the flash tool which can brick the unit if not done properly so I decided to leave it for now.

Yeah your right! On page 16-20 there a guy with a link to flash. The only way to with the xygala.com software is flash tool. I will try to flash it later on bc i planning to make a copy of my firmware/rom. so i can reflash if needed.
