FOREWORD

HUGE HUGE Credit to crpalmer & BadDaemon aka Micheal W for rock-solid device tree & kernel source & they have been continuously improving & updating on it that we already have three generations of Android on a single device ! So Pls pls consider spending them either breakfast, lunch or dinner is entirely up to you as you don't have to fork out another USD 200 for another new device to taste Android N with the $$$ that you have already save... :good:

INSTALLATION
  1. Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
  2. Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik/ Art Cache
  3. Flash ROM <= Very important, do not reboot & proceed with the next step
  4. Flash Gapps <= If you did then a Wipe Data/ Factory Reset will fix the FC
  5. Finally reboot and enjoy !
* First boot may take awhile if you choose to use full Gapps, nano will do but that is entirely up to you to choose the Variant.

Note : 7.1.2 ROMs then use 7.1.2 Gapps

Terms & Conditions of Use
  • All these ROMs here are provided "AS IS", use at your own risk
  • This is a one time build, it may or may not be updated, can't wait then build it yourself, its not that hard... :cowboy:
  • This is an UnOfficial Build, please do not submit any bug report or report any issues to respective custom ROM Google+ as most ROM Developers doesn't offer support for devices that they don't own.
However, having said that, if you really do wanna help out on improving on these ROMs then install Syslog & follow the procedure here then ask them nicely if they wanna have a look at your logs then only post a link there, more info on How to Report Bugs Effectively

If you're using any Official nightly built custom ROMs then donate to them, Build Server cost $$$ !

All credit goes to the ROM Developer/ ROM Development Team of the respective custom ROM... :good:

found something while testing this, it seems the "Clear All" button cannot be enabled, the option doesnt change when I click on it.....so the recent tasks view does not have a clear all icon :)

Love this ROM, my daily driver for 6 days and no real issues other than the already mentioned cellular signal disappears briefly and I can't switch to 2G or 3G but ROM is great otherwise.

You can change them from sim settings .
Just set your default sim for mobile data .
And if u set sim 1 for mobile data , just open sim 1 settings and set your preferred network to 3g or LtE .
And then goto sim 2 settings , enable 2g only as network type .
Now data works and much chances for Ur signal issues never appear .
Try your luck and report.

I tried to switch to 2G and 3G the first day of running the ROM and it didn't work but I just tried again and it works perfectly, I just ported my number to cricket from sprint the day before installing this ROM maybe it had something to do with that? not sure but it's working fine now.
When I had the Nexus 5 I used to switch to 2G a lot while i was at work just so the phone would retrieve email etc. because battery life was really bad on that phone no matter which ROM I used but this Honor 5x is getting great life so far so I doubt I switch that much.

Still have disappearing signal occasionally, not sure if it's a UI thing or the signal is dropping because I haven't had a chance to test with a call on speaker phone.

Try setting a manual network , may be u had a poor network signals at your place . try contacting their customer care explain that u had a signal drop each time .

If its not a problem of signal , just try latest build n check if its a problem of ROM .

There still is no FP sensor fix in rom yet. I can't get recents clear all switch to turn on either.
If you go to the cm13 thread you'll see he said he has the fingerprint scanner working but he doesn't want to push the update because people who didn't flash the stock 6.0.1 firmware for emui and would try to flash cm13 they would get a bootloop because the modems are old.

He just posted this today.

Should probably place in OP, flash at your own risk. Will be waiting a long time if he is waiting for people to update.

hi....just wondering if this will be updated with the latest CM builds, just asking because this is my daily driver and am so keen to have it fully functional :) thx in advance
Did the op abandon this , because I have a build I built today. Updated and ready to go.
Well I am uploading it now , so I will post a link here
I hope the op doesn't get mad , but since it has been a while here is a link. Everything works!!!!
