com.samsung.android.kgclient malware?

can/has anyone try/tried these commands :
this takes away the ability to execute a wakelock,and it should/maybe prevent running (actively) in the background.

appops set com.samsung.android.kgclient WAKE_LOCK ignore
appops set com.samsung.android.kgclient RUN_IN_BACKGROUND ignore
appops set com.samsung.android.kgclient RUN_ANY_IN_BACKGROUND ignore
permission manager X can do it as well (if your a GUIperson only )

'appops' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Hello!

I'm sorry if I'm necroposting, but I need a little help here.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A01 Core (SM-A013M), and I normally use ADB for debloating.

I would like to know if once I delete kgclient and get locked out, can I unlock the phone by restoring kgclient via ADB or is it an obligatory factory reset?

I have no root -- nobody developed TWRP or LineageOS for this, so I'm stuck with this stock ROM.

I would also like to know if anybody knows about a LineageOS ROM for this.

I believe that this command works: pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.samsung.android.kgclient'

the -k keeps the data directories so maybe it tricks it into thinking its still there? idk

That triggers it to automatically lock once its complete. There is something that is listening for it to be uninstalled. Maybe the oneui itself. Maybe we have to reverse engineer the entire system.

I would leave be... you might reverse engineer yourself into a boot loop. As much as I don't like Knox it's part of the firmware and hardware's core functionality. Just saying tread carefully.
In reality the N10+ runs very well by just disabling most of Knox. I don't use secure folder.

I have found a solution anyways. I removed one ui and replaced it. Works like a charm.

So? One UI, removed? None of the other launchers are as fast, stable, efficient and versatile. The Goodlock apps?!
You can package block most of Knox without effecting One UI.

One UI Home is a small apk...

In 24 hours it uses less then 1%...

For every Google process / app there is a duplicate Samsung version installed and running. Double the leeching battery and resources.

Hey man.one the same topic can you drop me adb commands for revoking specific permissions from apps like that kg client? Like restricting it from accessing wireless connections, internet, location and more?

I can't disable this apk because it says it's an admin app but when I look at the list of admin apps it's not there. It shows it's Payment Services? Any advice on how to remove this would be greatly appreciated. If you need any info from me please let me know.

Can't be done anything... the payment serviced phone can be easily be disabled...by using Alliance shield X apk... so easy after factory reset...Dm for

As for me I observed a service named "device services" in AFWall. Blocking this causes high battery drain. After some reseach I found that this is the kgclient.

Anybody with same experience?

Similar experience, how do I use my android normally after disabling the app, should I disable knox too
