I'm getting mine tomorrow, but I really hope that they either fix their update issues or let us unlock the bootloader! Hopefully the fact that it's part of the Q beta in Korea is a sign of good things to come!!!

It has a lot of Android that made me get into custom ROMs in the first place; Lots of options and functionality. For a locked phone, it's pretty flexible. I'm less experienced, what does the community think of the claims that locking the bootloader increases security?

The LG G7 never received a single Custom ROM afaik...

I'm disappointed that such a great phone doesn't have much of a community. I'd do something if I could but I just don't have the knowledge or skill set to be of much help.

I came from the XT1254 that I had for 5 years and loved it. Got this G8 and so far I'm liking it Alot. Could be just the 5 years in between but, good phone! I would love to see bl unlock and /or root! ?
