I have a directv issued note 2 for work but can't get any good apps besides what they put on there so Does anyone know a way I can get or hack into the phone to make it stop blocking the play store and other apps?

You can install APK's directly onto the phone, just make sure to allow unknown sources to install and push them manually into the system/apps folder.

Or you could make a TB to save the apps you have, odin the phone, and put the TB stuff back on there.

Other than that, I think your options are quite limited.

Yea that's what I was afraid of, I was hoping there might be a way around that method but like you said, I guess as long I backup the apps I need for work with TB then put them back, I should be fine. Thank you for the help

My opinion is that you shouldn't do anything to your work phone, especially if it has items preloaded onto it. If you perform a factory reset, and the apps return, they have likely done a little more work to it than you realize. Also, since it is company issued, it is likely not your device, so if anything would happen to it, you'd be on the hook.
