If you stumble on a program that can insert a picture into a spreadsheet I'd be forever happy. The ONE thing that is stopping me from ditching my laptop for work is that I cant put a friggin logo above a box of numbers

I hear you! There are definitely significant short comings in all suites. I tried to insert a graphic in Polaris Spreadsheet last night but it is not available. Sorry!

very satisfied with Picsel for pdf viewing.... I tried many for viewing Autocad drawing into pdf format saved on my dropbox drive, and Picsel seems to me the more fluid pdf viewer once the file is downloaded.

Did you see that there is an AutoCAD viewer out in the market now? Also a new Adobe Reader. Glad to help!

Yhea I know, but I'm not a draftman. They send drawing in PDF to give me less job to see and manage it. I use Repligo to annotate the drawing very easely.

Many different roads to solve problems.... Thank :D

It isn't just a viewer, you can edit CAD drawings, too. My biggest concern is that everything has to be stored or at least transferred online. Should these drawings be of important buildings or some firms contest entry, there could be serious security issues. You might laugh at my paranoia but you would be surprised about how many people carelessly leave sensitive stuff around.

how can we get the polaris office app on the xoom?
I'm sure it is copyrighted and all. But there has been a thread on the Transformer forum that links to the Polaris.apk since someone accidentally deleted it. Try this. I wish it would be available in the market since it has huge potential!

Documents to Go just released an update that includes Honeycomb compatibility.
The HD version has always been "optimized" for tablets. I don't think that a version change from 3.002 to 3.003 has brought much a change. At least from what I've seen there isn't much of a difference.

polaris apk

There's a link to the Polaris office apk in post #48.

Will this work on non-rooted xoom? Get the installation popup but did not try to install yet. Worried about creating conflicts that would require either factory reset or root to solve, neither of which is a huge issue but thought I would check if anyone else had installed Polaris office apk yet.

You need to push some files to /system/lib and the .apk to /system/app and set their permissions for it to work properly. The two files were floating around the Xoom forum here somewhere, try a search. I can confirm they work fine after the procedure (I was getting forcecloses before too when trying to open/create a new document)

Any chance you can link those libs please? Search pop up wont work in my xoom browser and google search only returned limbs for the sgs2.
