Compass not working in Maps

I've noticed that despite the compass working in other apps it doesn't work in maps at all. Has anyone else noticed this? (I've made sure the compass orientation is selected in the settings)

Are you talking about Bing maps because that doesn't use your compass it uses your gps for its directions. Same with Nokia maps. Hope that clears it up.

gMaps Pro is using them, and compass is working fine. Not sure if the free
version has compass support.

Ah ok I assumed the rotate with direction option used the compass. Thanks for explaining that.
