Hi All,

I'd like to start a thread listing USB DACs that are compatible with the Galaxy S3.

Here's what I've got or have read about:

Compatible:
Headphonia USB DAC cable (was very excited about this one!)
HRT MusicStreamer II
Fiio E7

Incompatible:
Fiio E17
M-Audio Transit

Can anyone add to this list?

Froot loop,

What file types did you play with the HRT MusicStreamer II? I'm interested in playing 16/44.1 and 24/96 FLAC files. Have you verified these or would you mind testing it for me?

Thanks in advance.

Froot Loop Awesome Thread....I have a quick question does the E7 have EQ?

I am very interested on the Fiio products. At the moment I have been leaning towards the E11 for my laptop and occasional use with the SG3, but after reading this the E7 makes more sense as It should reproduce a better sound from my laptop as well. My IEM's are a bit bass heavy when listening on my laptop...on the S3 I have installed an EQ that has allowed me to shape the sound curve closer to my liking. My IEM are the Thinksound TS02+mic..they are really good, but depending on source, Low tones can dominate.

Thanks for the feedback!

Are these DACs much better than the Wolfson DAC already in the SGS3?
Much less "noise" at the very least.. A whole enclosure just for a DAC would (generally) > one packed in a phone/ipod/etc
And I thought that the S3 didn't have the Wolfson?

That being said, I'll try to test my ObjectiveDAC if I can find some sort of micro to mini usb solution...
