If you need to remember something, just type a custom sentence there. And all the content gets updated every few minutes.

This is the ultimate geek app!

The final dates are near and the Nerdy Pigs want to play with the Training dummies. Just yesterday I presented the first preview.

But since then loads of features came across:
- Nerdy Pig #1: Current IP, we all like to know what IP we are on!
- Nerdy Pig #2: GitHub server status, what if someone DDoS it!
- Nerdy Pig #3: Random memes, courtesy of AutoMeme
- Nerdy Pig #4: XDA Portal news @AdamOutler
- Nerdy Pig #5: BTC Value in USD | EUR | GBP
- Nerdy Pig #6: Android Police
- Nerdy Pig #7: Phandroid @rayfin
- Training Dummy #1: Misc improvements
- Training Dummy #4: Propose new quotes

Pending pigs and dummies till now are:
- Training Dummy #3: Loading Activity, to ensure you have a Pebble connected!

- More yet to come!

With that said you can realize that the commit history is kinda funny... And GeekTheTime will not only show random geek quotes but satisfy any Geek need on-the-go, like checking what's the server status of GitHub...

Final Steps

Alright the competition ends in few days and I'm glad to announce that Geek The Time is already fully working.

The current work in progress though is:

- Squash a couple of bugs
- Clean Up code
- Update style
- And start the marketing campaign, you know write some cool stuff, get promoted...

Thanks to all who are downloading the app and doing in-depth testing. Between today or tomorrow the final version should be up on Google Play and Pebble AppStore.

Also the repos will be open sourced as promised and you will be able to read some funny commits huh!

See you fellows, this has been an amazing contest!

Right now I'm polishing everything for the end of this awesome challenge. What it started as a simple watchface that showed some movies and geek quotes now allows you to read news, including the XDA portal, to check the weather and even know the current bitcoin value in different currencies. If you need to remember something, just type a custom sentence there. And all the content gets updated every few minutes.
