Hi, Im in HBOOT 1.56
Is there any chance to get S-OFF my device to unlocked it ??
since the link to get S-OFF with firewater in the first page is disabled.
could anybody please can give me the solution / link for that ?

1. S-OFF is not needed in order to unlock
2. If you must have S-OFF, RumRunner might work on that HBOOT. I know it works on 1.55

Ignore the first page. It's very old. Read the thread, starting backwards

1. No Sprint phones use codes. No Sprint phone will ever ask you for a code.
2. Everything you need to unlock the phone is already in the thread

Yep. Once you tap the "sim lock" button in the menu, it's permanent

Your saying you can RUU say 5.02 and not loose your unlock? It will still work on GSM?

Hi i have a problem, i don´t know if the problem is about SIM LOCKED becouse at start the phone was unlocked i installed a rom form international
1rst mistake i didn´t know my device was SPRINT then i changed to the las Sprint RUU
but now i have those problems my phone doesn´t recognize SIM and is shows like it is stucked in airplane mode but i can use WIFI, normaly
also i noticed that i have my radio Turned off, it is normal

also by mistake i pressed in SIMLOCK option in fastboot mode, i don´t if that is the problem. if i have to unlocked again.

This is May 2015 now and i think that with the new firmwares this methods dont work anymore. I have a HTC One M7 Sprint with android 4.3 (have downloaded the 4.4.2, but not instaled yet) and want to GSM unlock it.

I have searched in the thread but didnt find nothing that helped me. So I want your help with 3 things, of course I will invite a You beer (completly noob, this is going to be my first flashing):
A) Description step by step of how to unlock the bootloader.
B) Guide Step by Step of how to gain root access.
C) Step by step of how to unlock the GSM slot.

Dudes i dont know anything about Android, this is my first Android flashing and really appreciate your Help with a beer.

I just got one of these devices today. I am trying to unlock, too. I am on HBOOT 1.56, so i'm going to s-off first. I am very familiar with the Android filesystem, etc. I will help you all out once I get time tonight to do all this.

for those not able to unlock, try downgrading the radio . i am rooted s-on lollipop 5.0.02 hb1.61 and the sim unlock wouldn't stick until i flashed a different radio...

but now my signal is weak... had this problem when i was on sprint... signal improved with newer radio.

anyone else not be able to make any actual calls after the sim unlock? i actually have 3 Sprint HTC One M7 and I did the sim unlock method on all 3 the same way. Two of them work fine, I can make a test call from a Tmobile sim card to the TMobile Customer service line.

However, one of them when I try to make a call, it just hangs there, no rings, no sound. After like 2 minutes, it just hangs up.

probably due to a 4.1.2 radio being used on 5.0.1 firmware

Having the emergency calls only problem here.

My problem was a little more serious; the phone that i bought was reported stolen, that was the real problem.
