Yes, you can flash zipped themes, but you can't install Theme Chooser on a rom that did not include it in the building - which is what you were alluding to.Apparently I can, just need to flash the zip file .

You have to install a morph to theme the lockscreen, transitions, and other stuff that Theme Chooser cannot modify. Metamorph from the market is a good app for applying morphs (someone has to build the morph zip though).i installed the same theme in cm7 but i can get the lockscreen to look like the ics version it just looks like the normal ones included with cm7. how did you get it to look like that?
