Clarify? Do you mean an advanced power menu? Like this?

You can add a power menu via xposed. I found at least THREE options, besides Gravity Box.

I included links to both ways, via fastboot (ADB) or TWRP.

The only difference I notice is the ADB (fastboot) way seems "permanent". The TWRP way, I have to re-flash every time I flash an update for my ROM, or else the "old" boot logo comes back. I'm on RR 6.x so I've flashed updates a few times.

Almost two years ago I fastboot flashed the black & white M logo. Recently I've been using the black & teal version via TWRP. But if I flash a ROM update and don't re-flash the black and teal logo in the same session, the old black & white version comes back, like a ghost. :p

If I ever get tired of that (it's really no bother), I can always fastboot flash the newer black & teal logo. ;) And then it will be the "permanent" one.
Thanks for pointing out the difference - was so excited to have MM last night and so pleased it went so well that I didn't even realize that the link you pointed me to was something you created. Thanks again and really nice work on the teal and black logo, it's perfect as my phone is all teal and black.:highfive:

Xposed and gravity box you can add advanced power menu so you can have restart and stuff like that. Also so much more with gravity box.

Auto play music with headphones I use Powernamp for my music and it auto plays. I did not know this way a thing with stock as i always use power amp. There is also a app in the pkay store that will fix this i believe called headphone control you can then pick any app you like to start when you plug in.

Auto unlock may also be able to be fixed with xposed mod.

I did not try to encrypt i think you need a locked bootloader on stock.
I will have to look into that app. I use double twist because of the nice lock screen sail for next song but it has had issues playing some songs.

And you don't need a locked bootloader. Someone did it a while back to use on custom but since this is pretty much stock I didn't know if we could just encrypt or not.

Yea I was looking at another thread and found out about that. I have never used exposed before. Just installed it and got my custom me u plus batter % and network activity next to wifi back.

Anyone know of a good dimming app? Not one with overlay. I know RR was DARK and I loved it.

You're welcome. Yes, the teal & black is my favorite also. I created those TWRP-flashable zips for boot logos for my comprehensive Moto Maxx/Moto Turbo guide (for unlocking bootloader/rooting/installing TWRP, etc.) but I didn't create the actual logos.

The Black & White has been around a long time, taken from another Motorola thread. The colored ones (teal, red) were created by @fenix3nk0r3 from this thread. He did a very good job adding color! When writing my guide, I added the ones I liked (including the black & white), first as just ADB (fastboot). Then someone without a PC requested TWRP-flashable versions of the boot logos. So, I used a tool by @bhb27 (one of our Quark devs) to create the TWRP-flashable ones, which I also added to the guide. I give credit over there, but just wanted to clarify here.

My guide over there in the other Quark forum would apply to everything for the Droid Turbo XT1254, EXCEPT for unlocking the bootloader. But everything else -- rooting, TWRP, boot animation, boot logos, etc. applies to all Quarks, including the Droid Turbo. For instance over there back in July 2016 when the Moto Turbo/Moto Maxx XT1225 first got official Motorola Marshmallow, that was when we discovered newer versions of SuperSu would not root the new Motorola firmware. For initial root, you had to use a specific older version, SuperSu beta 2.62, THEN you could update to newer version. I included that in my guide, along with installation tip screenshots.

Over here in December (5 months later) when Verizon finally released 6.0.1, guess what Droid Turbo XT1254 users discovered? :p The XT1225 users had already been through that, so we knew the answer.

With MM, Power Toggles is almost not needed, almost. It's still needed, for example, in the pull-down menu, to provide a few 'cool' options. Like a power menu, for one.

Ah, I was wondering at updating SU, that clarifies things for me. You've been really helpful and I appreciate your making sure that the creators get proper credit. There's something about the people surrounding CF's ROMS that always impresses me. Great bunch of people, and you definitely fit that mold.

Thanks once again for your help!

Thanks for a great ROM!

@Computerfreak, thanks for such an excellently crafted ROM!

The battery performance is truly fantastic as is the audio quality.

FYI, I installed the stock ROM and thought that I had done something wrong when the battery drain was so high. @ChazzMatt suggested/recommended giving your version a go and I went with his suggestion. I am beyond glad that I did!

The battery drain went from me being able to watch it drop each minute to it not moving a single degree in over an hour. Six hours later and it's only dropped 7%-8%. (Wi-Fi was on for 5 hours and the music player was in use for 1 hour.) Nice!

The audio quality improvement was more than simply noticable in the car this afternoon (Mannheim Steamroller's "Christmas"); it was smooth and clear enough that I thought that it sounded like I had higher-end speakers/amp. Extra nice!

Your tweaks are much appreciated - much appreciated!

BTW, all of your apparently long-time fans kept mentioning Pon-3 and Xposed, so I'm off to explore.

Thanks, again for a wonderful job!

Checking in. I used Link2sd to integrate the remaining system app updates. Everything went through, although some 'black screened'. Double-checked, and they're all there after restart. I did them in small bunches. Some setup data was lost, so expect to run through the initial opening on some. Still a gig left in the system partition!

I'm trying to work out an odd bug that I'm experiencing. I'm running 1.0.4 coming from 1.3.5. I did a complete wipe and clean flash of the radios and rom when upgrading to 1.0.4. Ever since yesterday I've been experiencing periodic drops in data connectivity when connected to 4g LTE (Verizon). My phone says it's connected to 4g but nothing that requires data will load (webpages, apps, etc). I had advanced calling turned on and when this problem occurred and I was still able to make and receive calls and texts, but that was it. If I opened chrome all the webpages would hang, if I opened my TD Ameritrade app it says 'no internet connection', and so on and so forth. Every time this happened I would have to restart my phone and then it would work fine for a few hours until the problem came back. Yesterday I had to restart about 4 or 5 times. Today I've restarted 3 times. I wiped cache yesterday but that didn't fix it. A few hours ago I turned off advanced calling and rebooted and so far it hasn't happened again. However, I really liked being able to have advance calling (VOLTE). I'm not sure if Volte is the culprit or not.

The funny thing is right before this started happened, an app called 'My Verizon Services' asked for SuperSU Access but I denied it. I don't know why that app would be asking for root access and if it's related to this problem at all.

Any suggestions??

1st You did the right thing with my Verizon asking for root. THIS is Verizon checking if your rooted. I have seen this before on my Verizon app. I do not think this is what is causing your problem at all.

Do you have any battery mods installed or battery saving apps ? If yes get rid of any for now.

Things you can try

Next time it happens don't reboot turn airplane mode on and back off. Check to see if it fixed it.

Go into application Manger show system apps. Find " system " clear cache and data.

Go into settings under wireless and networks hit more then cellular network Change from global to lte/cdma under preferred network.

You can try and re-flashing radios.

You can see if it is something going on with your setup. Do a complete backup in TWRP. Then wipe system and data re-flash 1.0.4 no root or anything boot up and test for a few hours. You can just restore your twrp backup when done testing. Be right back up and running.

Ask Verizon or stop by a verizon store and grab a new sim card. You can just tell them you get a no sim card msg sometimes.

If you do not use the my Verizon app to manage your account or for data widget you can disable it. But i do not think this will help. Unless Verizon updated something.

I hope something above works. I tested a solid few days on data with 1.0.4 and it was great. I have to say I am not super happy with the new radios. I drop calls when switching towers when i tested.

Work in XT 1225?
No, and please don't quote the entire OP post. We know what it says and so does the dev. ;) (You may not be aware, but it's considered bad manners in a forum like this.) You can quote part of it if there's something you wish clarified...

If you want some TWRP-flashable "custom" stock based ROM for the XT1225, this is what you want:

[ROM][6.0.1][Stock][Odexed]MPG24.107-70.2 Brazilian 6.0.1 for XT1254[TWRP Flashable]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/development/rom-mpg24-107-70-2-brazilian-6-0-1-t3426234

Custom in that it has a custom kernel.... It's based on the 6.0.1 Brazilian Marshmallow released back in July 2016 for the XT1225, but @iiWoodstocK modded it with @bhb27 custom kernel so it works on ANY Quark (XT1225, XT1254, XT1250). It uses whatever radio you have installed. (Or you can flash a newer radio for your XT1225, if you don't have 6.0.1 XT1225 radio yet. But that would be another topic.) Go there to that thread and read up on the ROM. Even though it's here in Droid Turbo forum, @iiWoodstocK plainly says it works on ANY Quark, even XT1225.

this ROM is just factory Marshmallow with a modded build.prop. I didn't include any radio in the .zip, so it uses whatever is currently on the device. Aside from my build.prop tweaks, this ROM is even usable for Brazilian XT1225 users, but the device will say it's a Droid Turbo and contain useless CDMA build.prop lines.
@computerfreek274 also had a ROM much like that, based on the Brazilian XT1225, which is how this thread got started. If you go back and look at the first comments in this thread, it was based on the Brazilian XT1225 ROM -- so I don't think he minds me mentioning it for other Quark users who can't install this ROM. When Verizon FINALLY released the Droid Turbo Marshmallow 6.0.1 a few weeks ago, he converted this "Marshmallow" thread to be stock-based for the Droid Turbo XT1254.

This ROM by @computerfreek274 is the one I recommend to Droid Turbo XT1254 users on Verizon who want stock, tweaked Marshmallow. I'm only mentioning this other "stock"-based Marshmallow Quark ROM for an XT1225 user who cannot use the current iteration of the ROM in this thread. For Verizon users this @computerfreek274 ROM has the advantage of Verizon VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling. XT1254 Users NOT on Verizon will NOT get those features.

So far it has been tested on xt1250 xt1254. You are welcome to try it and let me know. After you flash radios and rom. You may have to reflash boot.img just unzip my radio bl zip package and flash the boot.img in modded twrp ir fastboot.
I believe the XT1254/XT1250 kernel would be a problem for the XT1225, which is why @iiWoodstocK had to use BHB27 kernel to make the XT1225 stock firmware have universal Quark compatibility... but you know a lot more than me. So I will defer to your knowledge.

For those who don't know, the XT1250 U.S. Moto Maxx/XT1254 Droid Turbo is the exact same device, exact same FCC ID (just sold under different names in the U.S. to let Verizon pretend they had an "exclusive" device) -- whereas the XT1225 is different radio bands, different FCC ID -- although they are all Quarks. Very easy to cross flash XT1254 & XT1250 firmware as they as clones of each other.
