USB debugging

Great job as always, ComputerFreek!

I can't get USB debugging to work. The Turbo shows as 'unauthorized' using adb devices. I can't find the option to revoke usb debugging in developer options. It should be right under the USB debugging toggle, right?
Interestingly, /data/misc/adb is empty (no adb_keys file).

FYI, yes ADB is installed, yes it worked fine before the flash (CF274 LP 1.37), yes it works fine on other devices.

Otherwise, the ROM is great.

Just came from your Non-Verizon 1.3.7. Did the wipes and installed as per your instructions in post #456. Reinstalled all of my previous apps. Tried to use the hot spot. Turns on OK and my Amazon Fire HS 8 can see my hot spot and connects but can not obtain an IP address. Haven't seen anyone else complain of problems with the hotspot. Turned off the security and does not require a password but still the tablet can not connect. Had no problems with previous version. Any suggestions?

Good day, all.
OK, this happened again. Once upon a time on the ROM, I would be on 4G and get the arrows up and down, but no data flowing. At all. I went on to 7.x ROMs and never had that issue. But, I came back to this ROM with the latest update and it works very well. Except, the data flow has started failing again. I know if I reboot / wipe, it starts up again. But I don’t want to have to do that all the time.

Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix?

CF - this is sort of the same thing that has been happening to me (see page 38 - https://forum.xda-developers.com/dr...erfreek274mm1-0-android-6-0-1-t3503634/page38). I had the same experience where the arrows next to 4G or WIFI would blink up and down but I wasn't able do anything (surf the web, youtube app, netflix app, etc). I did all the suggestions but nothing worked and the data drops were very random. Rebooting always fixed the problem but it would show up again within days. Last week I did a FULL data wipe. I wiped everything including the internal storage, then I wiped it again. I downloaded a clean copy of the radios, BL, and rom and flashed, rebooted a couple times, then installed supersu and xposed. I did not allow google to restore anything and instead I started completely fresh as if this was my first smart phone that I've ever had.

Anyways, I did this about one week ago and so far I haven't had any problems. I'll report back if the problem shows up again. If it does I'm going back down to 1.3.7 because I was perfectly happy with that ROM.

I can not tell if this is just a bug in the firmware or not. I do not beleave it is do to anything in my rom . If one of you having this trouble can flash the stock firmware and run it for a few days. So we can see if we can link it to verizon firmware or radios. I can not get it to do it on my phone. There was only a few users reports of this. Now most of the users where coming from. On verizon roms like rr or cm. It can be a radio issue. You may be better off flashing the rsd ver of the firmware then start testi g from this. If everything works after a week or nore. Then flash back my firmware.

DOWNLOAD ROM and Radios HERE

How to install

Note if coming from 1.0.3 No need to wipe data just flash rom wipe cache reboot then you can Re-install root and other mods.

1. Download and flash in twrp MCG24.251-5 Radios and BL before flashing this ROM. Download here ( Note you only have to do this 1 time)
2. Flash ROM in TWRP wipe cache and reboot. ( Wiping data is always recommended not doing this you may still see apps bloatware that has been removed)

Help and How To.

Pon-3 After you have root Download here.

Xposed After you have root Download here Flah in TWRP.
After flashing xposed Download and install the xposed installer Download Here.

If your looking To switch to 493 DPI you will have to fix the ambient display being off set you must install xposed mod called "app settings" found here or download it from inside of xposed. and set moto diplay to 640 DPI. If you need more help check the forums here. Download a flashable ZIP to set 493 DPI From here Please remember you need root and xposed..
Coming from LP .49 Then you may need to wipe data and cache Please remember to back up 1st. I am not responsible for data loss. Then start at step 1. above. You can try to just do a update to MM But I can not tell you if it will work or not.

A complete wipe is recommend..

I am not responsible for any damage or data loss do to you using this Firmware or mods on your phone.

Big Thanks to all the Developers for there hard work and help keeping the droid turbo alive. Sorry If I forgot anyone.
Huge Thanks to My buddy for sending me the OTA last Night.

And Big Thanks to:
@TheSt33v
@iiWoodstocK
@firstEncounter

My daily driver. Tried some Nougat ROMs. but, didn't like the feeling.

My only issue, has been random reboots, but most certainly are caused by the "ScreenOffAnimation" Xposed module.

Thanks!

Is it going to your TWRP recovery or actually your bootloader screen? Someone else reported this on another ROM and they were mistaken -- it was going to recovery, not the bootloader. I don't remember why. I'll look around and see if I can find the comment.

But try reflashing the latest version of TWRP for Quark by our Quark TWRP maintainer, found here:

twrp-3.0.2-0-Mod_04-quark.img (updated September 2016)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529141701856462150

Can't hurt and may help.

You may not have the latest version of TWRP for our Quark, which was released in September 2016. Our Quark maintainer (who has official status) has newer modded versions on Android Host Files the official TWRP website has not yet integrated. It's their fault, not his. So, he provides the newest stuff to us in spite of their neglect.

Once you re-flash that TWRP, then reflash latest SuperSu and clear caches (it's an option you will see after your install something).

Reinstalling SuperSu can't hurt and also may help. Then, let it reboot.

[2017.01.03] SuperSU v2.79 SR2
https://download.chainfire.eu/1019/SuperSU/SR2-SuperSU-v2.79-SR2-20170103215521.zip

When you initially rooted this ROM you had to use beta 2.62 SuperSu, but now you can update to newest if you haven't already.

Yes it goes in bootloader screen not in recovery . Then i have to press power button to start phone .
What do you recomenr ? Any solution ?
Have you tried the the three things I suggested?

  • Install latest TWRP
  • Install latest SuperSu
  • Clear all caches in TWRP

In the meanwhile, I'll keep researching -- but any of those may somehow fix your issue.

I have the same problem. Were you able to get it to work?

From what I can gather on the Interwebtubes, this [missing revoke USB privileges] is a problem with some custom ROMS. Maybe d/t a custom FW, or build.prop. Thing is, CF ROMs should be fairly stock and not mess with Settings.

I'm wondering if anyone here has run into this issue or knows why.

I always thought turning off developer options disabled USB debugging.
While on the topic, is it normal to boot to fastboot screen? Mine has done it for a long time. I just have to hit the power button an extra time to boot the rest of the way

Sent from my XT1254 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
