OK, I installed yesterday and since GB I've had 2 random system crashes. May just wipe and reinstall completely.

I did a full wipe coming from LP as CF recommended. I usually do with anything major and I usually avoid a lot of issues. Worth the pain of reinstalling apps and restoring some data but always cleaner.

I also end up doing some housecleaning as a bonus.

Well I did a full wipe before flashing. Don't know, I was waiting until tonight because I needed my phone and magically no more system crashes. Hopefully it was a bug? Also happened in the middle of trying new launchers. It was happening while I had Apus installed.

Apus seems to do a whole lot more than just act as a launcher, so this could certainly be the cause.

Sorry about the delay for this update just needed time for testing I had this build running for about 10 days very stable a bit more battery life on 4g lte and wifi always on and xposed with GB, YouTube background player and adblock. I used everything from GPS to camera and so far it has been very stable no random reboots. If you get random reboots most likely you have bad data/settings or some xposed mod doing it.

Cleaning and speeding up your phone also fixing reboots.
1. go into settings and app manager and wipe cache and data on "settings" google play and play services.
2. reboot into recovery and wipe cache.
After that reboot and enjoy.

If upgrading you will need to re-flash the supersu and xposed if you them. You can flash everything at one time. Rom then su and xposed or even 493dpi mod. Then reboot.

No data messaging

Ok, so this is my first go round with root and a custom ROM. Between this thread and the superuser thread I now have been running this custom ROM for a few weeks. Can't thank all of the developers enough almost everything has worked out perfect.

This week I noticed that I am not receiving some of my text messages. I have noticed picture messages not coming through, and some messages from iphones. I have tried three different messaging apps, and gone through all of my data settings I can find, but I still have not been able to fix this problem. Any ideas?

Currently my phone is running:
System version 24.81.5.quark_verizon.en.US
Build Number Computerfreek274_.MM_1.0.4_

This is probably something simple, I hope, but like I said I am new to rooting and need some help.

Got it to dl. Back up, wiped cache, installed 1.0.5, wipe cache. When I flashed 1.0.5. it showed 1.0.6.View attachment 4006929

Must have just been a typo in the install script - Build number in settings > about reads correctly as 1.0.5

Kind of like the "dad data" in the last message from CF. I LOL'd cause I instantly thought of my phone making Dad Jokes and bad puns..

All looks good so far, except my OK google detection is greyed out in the Google app settings.
Oh and by the way was a clean flash and set up as new device.
WOW that was strange, I'm using Nova prime switched back to stock and it let me set up.
All good now!

I can't get USB debugging to work. The Turbo shows as 'unauthorized' using adb devices. I can't find the option to revoke usb debugging in developer options. It should be right under the USB debugging toggle, right?
Interestingly, /data/misc/adb is empty (no adb_keys file).

FYI, yes ADB is installed, yes it worked fine before the flash (CF274 LP 1.37), yes it works fine on other devices.

Otherwise, the ROM is great.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I'm having the same issue; tried on both Windows and Mac.

The power button on my XT1254 is no longer working so the only way I can come up with to reboot the phone is via adb, however, I'm running into the "device unauthorized" problem.

Oh well my bad. It is because I had multiple builds I was testing and the real 1.0.5 was not great. So my internal build number I was up to 1.0.6. If that makes any sense.

You can download a app on the play store to reboot. Called quick reboot or something like that. I don't understand why adb is not working for you.

Sounds like you will be better off starting clean if you can if not. Look at my post on the page before this. Clean settings and cache. Did you try just using the Verizon msg app? Also are you on Verizon ? Go into network settings and set it to cdma/lte. You can PM me if you need more help.

Dad data is a real thing in my life. Between being a Dad and my dad calling me for his passwords. I feel like I need a reboot every few days.
