hello,guys
yesterday i transfered all the data to computer and fully wiped to install 1.0.7
everything works fine but the only problem i got which is keyboard, it crash (disappear ) automaticlly, i tried to install different keyboard, Gboard, (i uninstalled and then reinstalled )Xunfei and the other keyboard etccc. it all crashed. i tried wipe app cache and data but still the same.

Anyone gotta some probleam and any solution ???

Has anyone gotten magisk to work with 1.0.7 of this rom? When I say work I mean work using magisk's root and not the "native" root of the 1.0.7 rom.

1.07 i believe has some hooks for super su built in. Which seems to cause a conflict with magisk. I was able to get it working on 1.06 and below with no issues.

That does help, thank you. Have you noticed any major performance differences from 1.0.7 to 1.0.6? I don't really remember 1.0.6 aside from it being stable/solid build. Also would it be possible to do a dirty flash from 1.0.7?

I wasn't on 1.07 for too long so I am not sure. I had no issues with 1.06. it was working really well for me!

I am on 1.0.5. Never needed a reason to upgrade. Well, my mic does not work and when I have speaker on, they can barely hear me. Well, I am downloading 1.0.7 right now. It was working fine before. Hope this helps. I have spare phone parts. But I am not sure if the mics are removable or not. I might wipe all data and start over if this does not work. Get rid of Xposed and gravity box.

Sounds like a bad download, I'd try another download and clean install, can take a while for first boot, be patient, then set up phone.

Well, I just wanted to make a final post before I unsubbed from here. :crying:

It's been great and I enjoyed interacting with everyone here but I recently moved providers to GoogleFi and bought a Nexus 6P so I'm pretty much going to use the old Droid for a webcam until I figure out whether to sell it or use it for something else.

Thanks everyone for your help, I hope that I helped others as well.

CF, you've been an awesome dev and with all of the life challenges you've faced you still managed to put out one of the most lean, mean and above all STABLE roms I've ever used. I will miss it, though it will still be on my Droid until I sell it. I hope my donations have helped you out in some way. You certainly deserved them. BEST ROM EVAH. :good:

I think I fixed it. Took apart my phone. I changed the bottom plastic click and found one of the mic runners off. I can be heard now. Well, I am on 1.0.7.

Hi. I flashed version 1.07. All seems OK but I can't update chrome from my playstore nor can I download any app of Facebook. All other apps update n download fine. It says download pending but download never starts. I have reflashed the ROM still the same issue!! Tried almost everything. Please help.

Open settings > apps> at the top pull down hit all apps. Now find google play services , play store and settings in the list wipe data and catch on all 3.

Then reboot and Go into recovery wipe catch. Reboot system and test to see if it works.

Are you coming from a CM based Rom ? If so sometimes you have to delete the .android folder on the internal storage if you did not format it and start clean. When coming back to stock it is best to start clean.

Most likely you already tested this try updating it over wifi if no good jump over to 4g and see if it updates.


Did you restore any backups with apps like Titanium Backup or other backup apps ? Doing this can be messing it up.

Backing up your data and phptos and wiping everthing is the other thing i can think of off the top of my head at this point. Without me knowing exactly what you did or had on the phone that is all i got. If you did come from an other rom i have seen flashing back to 100% stock everthing 1st then setup twrp and reflash my rom.

Sometimes google play store just gets stuck till play services and other services get updated 1st you may just won't to ride it out for a day or so to let everthing update.

You know it clicked with me use the xda labs app and update chrome, facebook and so on ypu can also use xda labs app to update google apps and services. After you get play services and google play updated i think the others will go anyways .

You will find your way around it on ypur own to update and download what you need.

Yes i was coming from a CM based rom and deleting the Android folder from the internal storage just before reflasing your rom did the trick!! Thank you man its good to be back to Stock! Also is there a way we can have the network traffic stats on our status bar?
