Seriously...
I will get the 4G upgrade for my Xoom but does not look promising to actually using it.
Really? put some pants on.
If managing simple battery life on your device is that critical to you, then you are already in over your head. You approach this like its mission critical, and I bet it's not even close. If it is, then shame on you for not having redundancy. Using these tablets for pleasure is where they are best at, and trying to run a business on one is retarded.(not saying you are) Using it as support is one thing, and jesus dude are you seriously not planning to be around power for hours on end? like over 8-9? And the thunderbolt, well the GPS drains it tons faster than the 4G radio. Mine after all day use (5:30 AM to 4 PM) is usually at over 65% and thats above average use. Watch what other apps tend to drain the battery as well. or app updates can change the way it drains. I bet at best you might lose an hour or 2 at most for using 4G intermittantly or regularly. And too have realistic expectations about it, how many 4G devices out there have unfettered battery life when in heavy use? yeah that's what I thought. If you expoect any device to stream some hd flick off of netflix or from your home server on a 4G network for all day well your setting yourself up. and **** if your sitting there with a movie for a couple hours, why the hell isn't it plugged in? Crap I'm kinda going off on this but really just wanted to put it back into perspective, you sounded like you might have lost it or something
