The phone is water resistant to a specific set of guide lines and industry standard codes. The phone is not water proof. I knew we would start seeing post like this as so many members misleadingly think the XZ is 'water proof' .
The water resistance is a safety standard and not ment for deliberate testing as in taking it in the shower or swimming pool and as for a sauna? Bloomin absurd. Shame the XZ has a much higher level of artificial intelligence than so many of its owners.
Makes me ponder just how many car owners drive it into a wall to test the air bags and seat belts?
It was so predictable this sort of thread would start. Part of the problem is due to Sony's own rather silly advertising blurb.
