Connecting to ad-hoc!?

Have always used my laptops wifi as an ad-hoc AP and have worked flawless on every android i have own, except when i installed JB on my motorola defy but that was a known issue. Now i have newly purchaded a HOX and using ARHD 9.4.0 and now i cant even see my computer in the wifi list.... is this a known issue? or im i just stupid?

Did you try the app "GETRIL" to update your driver?

Hm GetRil said that the RIL and baseband match so nothing changed.... any other idea?
I´m using ARHD 9.4.0 with stock kernel. Is this a common thing with the one x? had a Motorola Defy befor with CM9 (4.0.4)
and that could find and connect to my ad-hoc.....
