Hi all !

I am currently struggling to get files onto my legend via a cableless method.
I would really like to be able to browse files on the phone via a file manager, put files on the phone, download pictures to my laptop.
I could not get that working via bluetooth, somehow it only allows me to send stuff, and even that does not work...

Is that somehow possible via bluetooth or Wifi ?

I am using nightly CM7 and debian squeeze on my laptop.
I would appreciate help,
Cheers,
Karl

I love file expert it's a little weight app that allows you to setup your phone as a ftp or http server or connect to a smb server aswell as being a great file manager :p

Hmm, file expert is nice, works fine over wifi.

However, it can only work if both my laptop and my legend are in my home-wifi-lan.
I am still looking for something that would work without an external partner.

I wonder if i could not somehow use the wifi-tethering function....
Ideas anyone ?

wow, impressive

Ok, this actually works !!

I just setup the hotspot on my legend using WPA2. Then i connected my laptop to that hotspot and activated the ftp server in file expert. Nautilus can then just navigate there using ftp://

This is the best solution ever, its fast, secure and universal.

I am really impressed by the work the people here do, especially CM7#19 works really well for me, even the hotspot !!!!

Cheers all !
