Considering flashing 24 new ROM

Afternoon All

My S4 contract is up for renewal soon and I'm considering my options. One of which is to flash it with a new ROM and get rid of all the bloatware to see if that speeds it up. Otherwise I think I may wait for the Zenfone 2 or the Ellephone p7000.

I'm fairly new to all this so a nice easy to install ROM with clear instructions would be great, any suggestion, advice or help gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Your S4 model is important. Is it the GT-I9500 or GT-I9505? Or the other variants.

I would recommend you rooting first. This will allow you to backup your apps. Most backup apps require root access. There is one that doesn't, but you will need your pc for it.
If you don't want to backup your apps then you can skip rooting.

Before going any further you will have to tell us the specific phone model, as there are different methods for some S4 variants.
