Considering switch from TW-based ROM to AOSP (PA) - questions/concerns

I'm currently on Jedi X11 (haven't gotten around to updating to X12), but I'm considering switching to ParanoidAndroid and have some questions/concerns regarding the switch.

First of all, I don't care at all about the Touchwiz/S-Pen features (never use multiwindow, air view, etc) or Wifi calling, but I do care about HDMI-out, either through the official 11-pin cable or the Smart Dock - is PA still compatible with either? Are there any limits to their functionality?

Regarding bugs, is there still anything big that's outstanding with 4.2.2? I remember Bluetooth being a big issue, and I almost exclusively use Bluetooth for audio in my phone - can anybody confirm that the Apt-X codec still works? Or mention any issues with any Bluetooth devices/services, such as keyboards/mice?

As far as performance, how does it compare to Jedi X11, Pegasus/Stweaks overclock, and Crossbreeder? I have no widgets (and no interest in lockscreen widgets), and a live wallpaper, and generally easy on apps/storage, and still notice lag in turning the screen on and off pretty often - although I can't really complain elsewhere.

And should I expect a positive or negative impact on battery, generally speaking?

The tv out feature availability is a great question, I have personally tried a few aokp and cm rooms, they are very lean fatty and quite stable. Although, I never tried the tv out feature, weird, I use that a lot.

just remember, when you upgrade to 4.2.2 all your internal stuff will be moved to under /0 folder. I thought it erased everything when it only moved it.

I'm struggling with this question as well. I tried CM when Netflix didn't work and was impressed otherwise. Now that it's fixable, I'm seriously considering trying it again.

I jump back and forth a bit. Usually it takes something to pi$$ me off lol. For example a couple weeks ago the CM camera FC'd on me when it tried to flash and autofocus at the same time so I started running TW for a while. I modified TW with so many tweaks and hacks to get that look and feel of CM, that my alarm lost it's audio last night and I almost slept in for work today, back to CM I go lol.

Ronnie- I ran today's Carbon for a bit, but ditched it when I couldn't play the game "Plague". For some reason it wouldn't open. Cleanly wiped internal SD, fresh nightly install (OC'd to 1920 admittedly), fresh game install from the Play Store (no TB) and it still wouldn't open. Couldn't figure it out, but it works on CM... Just sayin' Carbon features are nice (plus I love Trinity's kernels), but there are little tweaks here and there that break or break other things. CM is much "nicer" to me.

Never game... I have noticed Photoshop will not open. That's the only app I have had issues with.
