Hey guys,

So Ive tried firmware 3.5.8, 3.5.6, 3.1.0 with either 7.1.1 custom roms or also stock. All combinations still result in constant wifi drops, not network drops anymore since I used mini gapps to avoid google contact.

Any advice on how I can fix this or do you think it is a hardware issue?

This is a real issue and it does exist even on 3.6.0 firmware with 7.1.2 custom ROMs
Unfortunately nothing can be done unless we have all of the blobs which oneplus will never release anyways

This makes my phone pretty much unusable though, like it happens every minute or two. You are saying its the same like that for everyone? And there isnt a solution?

Most people including me don't even notice this. So far I have only been actually able to catch this behavior in logs and right now Google connectivity services seems to be the culprit however removing that app doesn't fix the drops either

If you have an old router you'll be able to notice the drops more easily (what is happening to you right now). People with newer routers seem to not be affected by the problem (or at least they claim not to be, they actually are and aren't noticing it)

Thanks for your insight, really hoping someone has a solution to this. My router is pretty new and all my other devices connect perfectly.

There isn't
You can keep looking and never find the solution
We are missing some blobs only oneplus could provide, which could only happen if N drops for op2

Which definitely won't happen
