Contacts not getting linked autmatically on Froyo.

Hi,

I recently installed Froyo and factory restored my phone.
I then restored my phone contacts which I had backed up via Kies.

When I added a facebook account and synced contacts to the phone, the did not automatically link to the phone contacts like they did in eclair.
The contact names are the same but still they did not link.

Any solutions to this issue?

you need to download the facebook contact list and manualy join the contacts ....
Tho you will need to remove the pics from the contacts you have restored using Kies... If you don`t remove the pics ... they will stay permanent and will not change when the contacts of FB change their pictures.

There were no pics upon restore from Kies.

I tried to sync again but this time I selected "sync all contacts" from facebook and it linked automatically but now I have to remove the unneeded facebook contacts which is a bigger problem.. Will try something else.

Found a workaround.
Delete all contacts, sync from facebook first and then sync from Kies
