I've tried everything to no avail. I've went over every single app and account settings meticulously to ensure that they are set to function according. I've factory reset every speaker and started from scratch several times with different accounts and it made no difference. Oddly enough, none of my settings in the app nor online were altered in any way before or after continue conversation stopped working. It just all of a sudden stopped working randomly one day and hasn't worked ever since but ONLY on the non-branded Google Assistant speakers (I have 2 Sony speakers (
S50G) and a Insignia speaker (NS-CSPGASP2). Considering all of the troubleshooting I've done in the past week and despite any settings I changed, my 3 Google mini's worked perfectly with continued conversation without issue, I have to conclude that this feature has been disabled, at the very least, on my third party Google Assistant speakers.
By the way, I initially posted about this issue in Google's ''Google Home Help Forum'' over a month ago.
Anyone experience this issue?
