Controlling LED light and assigning to third part application

I am kinda new to the M9 scene and had a question regarding the led light. Is there any program or mod that will let me assign that light to a third party texting app (like textra)? I have tried lightflow and got no consistent results so figured I would ask here to see if anyone knows of a way. Thanks!

You mean the tiny led in the speaker that only has red and green?

If you mean the rear camera flashlight then its already an option in settings.

Yea I am referring to the tiny led in the grill..... cant seem to figure out how to configure it to third party apps. It flashes for stock messaging application but not for third party.

As far as i know, you can't. At best you'd need root for permissions.
