Could a custom ROM solve 'app not installed' problem?

Would be nice but unfortunately error messages are never really that clear unless you know what's wrong

By saying app not installed or not giving a success message that is its error message

App not installed could be for any of the reasons I listed in my 1st reply - I know it's not helpful but unfortunately Google expect you to know the hardware you're building for and just give generalised error messages that could cover a range of issues. You just have to go through the steps of working out where you went wrong.

It's the same with any company - Microsoft could be even worse with a blue screen of death or any of their errors. They actually give an error code but the chances of their knowledge base with the error codes actually matching what the actual issue is is pretty slim
