Could not connect to wifi

hey guys,
(i hope you will understand my bad english) i've got a problem with my htc sensation and every rom i flashed.

I can't connect to my home wifi network.... i flashed many roms but no one solved the problem. there is no mac filter activated on my router and every other device (like laptop ect.) is connecting, only my mobilphone isn't...

is there an build.prop that will solve that issue??

would be nice if someone could help me...


i'm just using android revolution HD 3.6.4 (but it's not the only rom that isn't connecting)!

I am having the same problem with this one. I flashed my rom to coin and now my sensation will not obtain an ip address. I believe that I am using coin 2.3.4 it is the latest release.

Are you able to turn on wifi? I'm having an issue where my wifi won't even switch on let alone find any networks.

If you can find networks but can't connect then chances are it's your radio.

Try flashing new one's til you get the right one, or go with the recommended radio for the rom your running.

If you've got the same problem as me then i'm afraid i can't help at all.

i'm using everytime the recommended radio for the rom, and also my stock radio (wich was on stock rom when i bought it) couldn't connect to wifi:-(

i will try some radios and will tell you if it works!
Is there something i need to know with radios or is it possibel to flash them all?

is there an build.prop which allowes me to connect to ad-hoc networks? so i can use my laptop as hotspot?

i know it's possible but i can't find the file:-(

You can use your phone as a wifi hotspot but your having problems so you won't be able to do that, so your only option would be usb tethering, if that's not what you ment then you can use internet passthrough using usb to your mobile.

now my phone only finds HOTSPOTS, but no ad-hoc...

So:

Can your Sensation connect to Existing WIFI Networks (Like Home Router or Hot Spots) ?

Are you trying to connect to a WIFI network being initiated by your PC which is connected to some network by some other media? If so can anything else connect to your PCs network via the PC?

Or something else ?

I have the same question. I'm trying to connect to internet via AD-HOC connection running on my other phone. It seems to be that original HTC Sensation ROM doesn't have capability to connect to AD-HOC hotspots - only regular ones.
Does anyone have solution for this?
