Could this be ported to Android 8.0+?

Once we have xposed for Oreo, and get the basic faceunlock working, then I guess it will be relativity easy to port this module.

Xposed is 95% finished, so there is hope, though the last 5% may still take many months.

Faceunlock depends on libraries from Google for which we have no source. 32 bit phones like the N6 need 32 bit libraries, but currently, only 64 bit phones have gotten official Oreo roms from which we can grab libraries. Alternatively, someone may figure out how to use the nougat libraries on Oreo.

Geez, if only the Nexus 6 was 64 bit.

Anyway I thought that there is already a systemless Xposed module out for Oreo using Magisk.

Some people already made a lib for 32 bit Oreo, search the OpenGapps github issue list for Face Unlock and pick -> Trusted Face not working in Android Oreo 8.0 (arm)
I can't link it as I don't know if I have permission
