For me the same. I am on Candysix rom. Doesn't recognize the profiles after coping and changing permission as you stated earlier. Also reboot of the phone has no effect.

I wouldn't mind trying out some new ones. But I can't contribute with settings though since I have no knowledge in this topic.

Depends on what you're looking for.

I'd say go for the stable profile settings since it provides the most balanced approach. If you want to take a slight battery hit in the name of smoothness, try out butterfly instead.

Hi all,

I have updated the OP. There is a lot taken out and I have referenced back to whether others have created profiles and scripts. If you use the Nexus 5x scripts and first make sure that you choose a script that implements a governor you already have then this should be a much more simple process. For reference, if you are using Llama Sweet r4+ then it should contain all the governors you are likely to come across. I hope this helps people test out some other settings that they might not have otherwise known about.

Hey buddy, Good question but a really bad time to ask as I'm stacked out in work and personal life so won't be on the forums for the next little while.

I hope one of the others can explain it otherwise I will try in the next week or two. Another option would be to google or search within xda. Lastly, ask OJ the original nexus 5x thread.

The easy way is to get FX file Explorer from playstore... Then navigate to the .sh file you want to run... Tap in the .sh file and choose execute... In the upper right corner tap run... Make shure in the middle is root marked... There you go... In the output text it is possible that there will be an error because of touchboost isnt present...

I have a H815 which suffers from the bootloop issue due to hardware fault. I have managed to get the device up and running for a few days using the 'bake it in the oven' method. The device gets very hot when charging and screen on and heavy usage. I think this extreme heat brings backs the bootloop issue or at least has some part to play in it. I'm a noob as far as custom kernel settings are concerned especially the 'voltage' settings. Can anyone suggest settings for govenor and voltage that might mitigate the heating problem? Thanks.

Edit: I'm using Kernel Auditor as the settings management system.
