CPU/Touchscreen issue!!!

i noticed on my mytouch 32b, everytime i simply touch the screen the cpu usage goes from normal to 100%. Is this common with this phone and is there any way around this because even when i play some 3d games, they run smoothly until i touch the screen and the framerate decreases

i also noticed the same issue with my tmobile 32b device overclocked at 633 mhz.i searched all where and find no solution for this.
if any one provide the solution iwill be gladful for him.
