I am well aware of what makes an official vs unofficial but I thought this was from cRdroid officially. I might be wrong, and you might be right if it's not on the cRdroid page, I thought this was done through cRdroid as an official. I still think it is, but I can't prove it since I'm not the dev.

Even if not, I'm remaining on it, it's flawless (Dec 5th build), with everything working including now playing and face unlock so I'm good to go with it. I don't even care about future updates, I only do them to help others but this is a rock solid version. I haven't hit a bug yet with this version (Dec 5th), and face unlock works perfectly fine. The latter version (after Dec 5th) the face unlock has a bug.
@GROOVYJOSHCLARK

I can only find the 12/6 download zip as provided in the download link. Is this the version you are referring to as 12/5 build?

@putzwon thank you for always updating this rom, trying to use electro kernel+ on this rom from Risedroid and Evo, making this rom smooth and fast

New report from this crdroid 9.1 update, have noticed random restarting not full restart, but Ui or launcher restart, I saved a zip matlog file after noticing the restart again.
explain the install process used, plus modules/magisk, ETC. I have used this ROM since it dropped and its up usually a week or two before I reboot it, so no random reboots here. It could be a custom module, kernel, I dont know so explain the build also what launcher, default? I use nova so its also a possibility why I dont have soft UI reboots and you do.

It was caused due to a magisk module

Yep.....currently switching between 2XL and 4XL. I love these phones!
If you loved the 2XL, you will LOVE the 4XL. I didn't at the very beginning of owning my 4XL but that's because I chose to get the 3XL first, then two years later the 4XL. I didn't like it at first because I was expecting similar hardware like the fingerprint scanner and didn't do my research first, same with things like the 3XL has, but the 4XL retired. My point is this, as long as you're aware of the changes between 2XL and 4XL hardwar-wise, then you'll absolutely LOVE the 4XL!! I made the mistake of getting the 3XL before my 4XL but I should've just kept my 2XL until the 4XL. The 4XL is flippin amazing and it's used 75% of the day for work (I do everything that doesn't require me to access the cloud) through my phone, the cloud work through my PC so I use my phone and rely on and need my phone, very much.

It's my daily driver and I plan to keep it and use it until the hardware blows up. I still get TWO days idle battery with plenty to kill so it lasts forever.

Yes, I had the Verizon 4XL and really enjoyed it but since the bootloader was locked I sold it. I have been tweaking my 2XL to be a work horse even though its old. I am currently running Arrow A11 and enjoying it.

I am glad I skipped the 3XL....was really close to getting one but ended up finding the 4XL with an unlock bootloader, yay! I don’t plan on retiring the 2XL just yet but once I tweak the 4XL to get close to 2 days idle I will

run the 4XL as a daily. It is currently running CalyxOS so I will see what kind of performance I get out of it? However, I am pretty sure it will end up with either CrDroid 9 or Lineage 20.

Pretty solid ROM, have been using it for about a week now as my daily driver (the 1-26-2023 build.) Much, much kudos to putzwon and whoever else is involved with this

Shapes of the quick settings icons don't change when a different option is applied, and same with the icon packs. They seem to stay as the default. The clock on the lock screen is still off-center (when not using the double-lines option) but other than those minor aesthetic issues, it seems to be extremely stable.

No idea if any of those have been addressed in the February 3rd upload, will flash it sometime this weekend and edit this post otherwise

Short video of my setup -
