Ever wanted to easily get to your firmware inside Windows, just from your desktop and not with boot screen, settings or restart while holding shift? WinUEFI is the answer!

Requirements

  • PC with Windows installed and running (At least a PC with Windows 7 or later should work. Lower versions i don't know of are working!)
  • Program WinUEFI (get it by clicking here.)

Installing

To install, first install the application from the latest release for your architecture and preferences. You can find it by clicking here.

Here you see a list of assets. Choose the one with your PC architecture. Setup is to set it up and use it anytime easily, but the portable version is just the program file. Console version shows the console while running. BAT is the source script file. PS1 is the PowerShell script version. ZIP has a few of these versions in it.Download Click your preferred asset and it will start downloading. Maybe you have to click Save (As to still download it. After this, open the file. It will ask for Admin privileges to run. BAT and PS1 needs to be ran as Admin manually. It will reboot your device into UEFI/BIOS now and you can change settings! For the setup: install with the on-screen instructions and open after finish from start menu or desktop. Now it will start to reboot into your UEFI/BIOS settings!

@Minionguyjpro Already two days ago, I've changed the prefix of your thread from "Development" to "How To Guide" as your thread didn't qualify for the first one. Now I've to recognise that you obviously don't care about moderator action - who else should have been able to change the prefix besides you? - and changed it back. I've reverted your change. DO NOT REVERT MY CHANGE!

Anyway, welcome to XDA! We're really grateful for your contributions. However, I suggest that you seriously study the XDA Forum Rules, to which you agreed to adhere when you registered on this private website 2 1/2 months ago. I considered your action as disrespect to me. Please read this message as a friendly warning. Any further violation of the rules might lead to more severe consequences to your account including formal infractions or bans. Thanks for your cooperation.

Hello, one more thing. I want to post another thread and I am looking if it qualifies for the 'Development' subject/tag, but I don't really see any information about those in the rules for the forum.

Hello and good morning, @Minionguyjpro

Thanks for coming back to me with your question. I suggest to discuss this privately with one of the moderators of the team that is responsible for this forum. In this cases we call the team "All other forums", you'll find the names here:
The team leader is @Badger50 but the names are also available via the announcement that is stuck at the top of this forum:

However, in short: If you post your own development the thread would qualify for the "Development" prefix.

I've did it. I made an in-development batch file that has a lot of easy options.
