yes, you can ask here in forum. but please read answer: "my idea" (to video) is written on #21, #26, #28, #32 on page 2.

we will try our best to help you.
I read your answer. and I tried with the old cfg that I have. because you said it was good. but the same as in the video happens to me. I tried with many versions of windows but the same thing happens. and doesn't go any further. the samsung exynos drivers are installed in the laptop but it does not go any further. I kept looking for details on the internet but I couldn't find it and I thought I'd ask you. maybe you have an idea

you tried with old files. old files are not good. old files are invalid. you must create new files, as described in post #28.

thanks for the reply Alecxs
so it is not from windows nor from the drivers
the problem is from the cfg file
offfff.

I think we have no chance to bring the phone back to life
I can't manage to create the files
I kept trying and I can't
I know it's simple as you said
but my intelligence is beyond me

no, the cfg file is good. you can use the old cfg file.

but first, create new files from offsets as described in post #28. you must flash new files.

you select bytes with mouse, copy-paste with ctrl + C / ctrl + V in new file. the first file start byte is beginning (= 0). the first file end byte is last byte before offset 0x3000 - 1 (= 0x2FFF)

Yes. I love alecxs
cfg is good. but those files must be created
I understand what you are saying
the idea is that it surpasses me
I tried to document myself. but I can not
I read the details and your messages 100 times
but I can't make those files

I am beyond intelligent

right. you have now selected bytes from start offset 0 to end offset 1F (= 20 - 1).

0x0 - 0x1F
IMG_20230203_103341.jpg

on the left column you see offsets. on the bottom you see block selected 0-1F + length 20 (h)ex.

copy these two lines with ctrl + C. it is now in clipboard.

next, in menu 'File' -> create new empty file.

paste the two lines from clipboard into new file with ctrl + V.

now, in menu 'File' -> save the file -> bobbywan30_exercise.bin

congratulations, you have extracted your first file yourself.

yes, that is correct. you can compare the bytes with sboot, the first two lines looks exactly the same.

now repeat for
0x0 - 0x2FFF = bl1

@bobbywan30 I think you may have some misconceptions on what XDA is all about.

Firstly, you MUST obey the Forum Rules. Do not post the same message several times, do not keep posting the same files multiple times, and USE ENGLISH.

Second, you and only you are responsible for the risks you take. If you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't be doing it. No one is obligated to help you. This forum is an excellent resource to learn things, but we aren't a "software support" forum where you can beg and demand that people do things for you. You will often find that people are more willing to offer help when it's clear that you have a general idea of what you're doing, but no one here is going to want to spoon feed you and hold your hand every step of the way. If someone tells you that you're doing something wrong, or that you don't know what you're doing, that should be your indication to STOP and do some research to gather the information you need.

It doesn't matter how big your problem is; you got yourself into this mess, and it's rude to expect other people to dig you out.

this tool is undocumented, couldn't find any information about, except what is already linked in thread.
for example don't know what the 200 means. guess it's a timeout counter.

also I still don't understand how the location is determined where the files are written. my guess is, it parses the file name for determining the label.

    please wait for new information.
thank you alecxs for your patience with me. you are a great gentleman.
    thank you for
    0 - 2FFF = bl1
    3000 - 15FFF = epbl.bin
    16000 - 67FFF = bl2.bin
    ...
    A4000 - 223FFF = s-boot.bin
    224000 - 263FFF = dram_el3mon.bin
1 downloaded the latest firmware from the internet
    2 i extracted sboot.bin
    I rewrote the files
