This has been a running joke since I had the original phablet, the forgettable Dell Streak 5. Just "Streak" when I had it. It had potential, that Dell squandered of course. Before grabbing the Note, I had a good look at how much development was happening on XDA. Did not want to repeat the past, and while there are not quite the number of ROMs that the N7000 enjoys, its quality, not quantity that counts. And we have plenty of that, between DarkStar, Paranoid, Padawan, and some nice N7000 ports like Liquid etc. ANYTHING is better than the Streak experience. You would see a thread for a ROM, only to see it either abandoned or never completed. You could hear virtual crickets in the development section. Not so with Note, and there is plenty to come, before Note II sends the OG Note to the nether regions.
