Hello @adfree,

I follow the instruction of modifying the country code over the system shell exploit on both files prodcode.dat & mps_code.dat, it worked flawlessly. But, I think I would like to go with downgrade approach as it looks much cleaner as it will change omcnw_code.dat too.

Hello, GW4, changed the region to SER, SPAY appeared, but when it starts up on the phone, it says "check the bluetooth connection of the phone with the watch", on my phone there is no root, the phone is not Samsung, I tried different versions of the plug-in for the phone - it did not help.
Is there a solution to this problem?

Fixed by installing actual SPAY version on my watches.

Hi team,
After changing my motherboard due to a salt water damage, I've got a chinese firmware for my R870 and I want to change its CSC to any full service zone (Maybe XFA). Anyway, I've a GWB1 SW version, so no way to use code *#272...
Tried to use this shell exploit, without success :(
I discovered that in the folder /prism/etc/carriers, I've only CHC directory, no other CSC in this path.

I think I need to have the target CSC in this directory to make this shell exploit working. Do you know where I can find the XFA, or any other CSC, directories to push them in my current FW ?

My current *#1234#
AP: R870ZCU1GWB1
CSC: R870CHC1GWB1
Model: SM-R870

Hello, XFA should also work on Watch 4 Classic LTE (SM-R875F) right?

If we see this link, XFA should work for LTE updates and Samsung Pay because it has the values in the xml.
If we change the XFA in the URL to INU, you would see the same updates and values.

However, it is not the case for XSG (UAE) as it does not have values and it makes sense because LTE version is not released in UAE. hence, no updates.

Does anyone tried this shellexploit thing to change the CSC of a GW5 Pro (Bluetooth version - R920) bought in USA (XAA) to some other CSC (ex: ZTO)?
Looking at some old articles about CSC changing in Samsung devices, it seems that replacing mps_code.dat is only part of the full process. Seems that system/CSC also needs to get updated with correct files from the chosen CSC, but I wonder if this is still true or even valid for Watch 5 devices.

i tried the code and it straight went to the dialer of my phone and showed invaid mmi code. can someone help

The code doesn't work *#272* anyone please help me trying for SPAY since 7 months. The odin methods looks tossy. Awaiting any great man's help on this. How to change CSC for my Bluetooth GW4. Below affixed watch software details

I was trying to follow this method from the video, but stuck at the moment of sideloading samsungTTSVULN2.apk with ADB. Had this mistake Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_VERSION_DOWNGRADE] ROLLBACK FAILED. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Google patched the system shell exploit by preventing downgrade of existing installed version...

    Hello guys,

    I'm following this threads for 7 months already, I want to enable samsung pay in my Galaxy Watch 4 classic LTE which has Poland region (with blocked samsung pay), so I would like to change CSC to Spain.

    I followed the tutorial of this thread to do it via keyboard but it doesn't work, a system error that I'm not allowed to do that pops up.

    My versions are:
    Galaxy watch4 Classic KS6H
    SM-R895F
    Software version:
    R895FXXU1GWDA

    My question is... I see many methods here to change the CSC but they are confusing to me, I am a technical person but I am missing in some guidance about which method to use.

    I bought the watch to be able to pay things with it, so this means that I'm not using it for over a year, and I'm sick of this situation. Is there anybody here willing to help me please? I could pay for the support, I am a bit desperate.

    A guide about what exactly to do would be enough... just with links, downgrade version, try this script or whatever, I'm not dumb but I'm lost AF.

    Hi All,

    I know everyone is frustrated that we are not able to change the CSC on Watch 4 Bluetooth version. I was keep on trying different methods and atlast i am able to change the CSC on my Watch 4 Bluetooth Model SM-R870. The funny thing is I tried all hard way and nothing succeeded. Finally find out a simple way to change the CSC.

    Spay.jpg



    1. Open the Samsung phone Dialer app on watch
    2. Dial *#272*719434266344#
    3. Accept the warning Menu
    4. Change the CSC to MEA or SPAY supported Region (Its a one time change, be careful, you cant revert back to any other CSC)
    5. Install and reboot
    6. Select United Arab Emirates and reboot.
    5. Done , Watch will be reset and Spay will be available once after pairing again with phone.

    Please feel to thank me if its working.

    I was able to revert to INU using the System Shell exploit. Watch 4 Classic LTE.

    I have Watch 4 - Watch(BT)-SM-R870. Samsung pay is working for me. I change CSC to XSG - United Arab Emirates.
    Also, I am getting updates(image attached)

    Also, Now I can use ECG & BP too via moded Apks.
