CSE flash, data partion, factory reset

Hi,
I've flashed the Lollipop update and having WiFi issues.
If I re-flash using CSE flash, will it wipe the internal memory such as pictures and stuff or is it the same as a factory reset?

what kind of wifi issue?

i am too having a little problem of not being able to detect 5Ghz network (previously able, I think it was on initial fw version).

i think it's got something to do with wifi region, but i don't know how to change it in the phone. anyone can help?
