Yup still using it to this day. Don't expect it to be a magic fix to your lag problems, it's mostly to fix any thermal throttling related issues which might not even be something to begin with if you only use your phone for short periods of time
ya im not worried about lag. i jsut use my phone to communicate with people mostly.
the other day i took about 33 pictures and i felt my phone being hot
so hopefully this fixes it.

also on kernel auditor, i do not see cpu hotplug settings.
the only thing i set was was core control as said on post.

also i did read that i need to wipe dalivc cache...but do i really need too?

In that case it would definitely help then with sustained performance.

CPU hot plugging isn't really supported for our G4s, I believe it's something to do with the 808 taking forever turning the core back on that you get a very noticeable delay in performance.

As for the dalvik, i recommend that you do it anyways. But really you're just overwriting one file which gets read upon boot. It's hard to test it but i did get away without wiping cache.

Don't know much about it. In theory you're just replacing two files. If you navigate to that directory and check it out there might already be some modifications made compared to bone stock. Little bit of homework can go a long way ;)

Does this require that the phone be rooted? My stock H815 gets way too hot.

This mod doesn't touch charging at all only the thermals that control the CPU speed
Have you tried a different cable or blowing in the charging port on the phone to clear out any dirt?
Or it could be the battery went bad try a different battery

I tried everything you mentioned... different cable charger, blow the Port..nothing helped..just like the phone limits the current to half ampere like it is on PC usb Port...

I saw in another post where you said you have to be rooted. I'm running 20v unrooted right now but Fastbooted off TWRP and installed. Phone seems to run cooler but don't notice a performance difference thus far. I only play 2 games, Hill Climb 2 and the original Flappy Bird. For some reason this phone stutters bad with FB. I've tried a bunch of ROMs and only Slim ROM plays it smooth. I was hoping this mod would be the fix but no luck. Guess my question is if the mod is even working since I'm not rooted?
