The quality of screen protector from the factory is poor. You can easily remove it and replace with the temper glass.

I created a very simple exe for the CDK09 keyboard to block the touchpad gestures, thanks to @.oOOo.

Download:

Copy this file to:
Code:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

Sourcecode:
Code:
#NoEnv
#NoTrayIcon
#SingleInstance force
#d::return
#b::return
#tab::return
#a::return

And here is a registry file that will add the touchpad as legacy precision touchpad, this will enable an section on the windows settings to adjust the sensivity:

I can't tell if there is any difference done by this setting, but maybe someone can test and verify this.

the link for legacy.reg is down, can you post it again?

Hi All,
Yesterday 1 minute after the computer (18BL) started after a windows update was installed suddenly the computer switched off. After that no red light and didnt switch on at all. Could this still be a BIOS problem and worth to order programmer with cable from ebay or it is probably a motherboard issue (i tried taking off battery for the whole night, didnt help, no red light). thanks

Thanks! I already took the tablet to local service center who checked the components on the motherboard. They reset BIOS, then they found a short circuit and finally they found the chip also short circuited. I was recommended t contact Official Alldocube Store on Aliexpress to buy only motherboard. We will see for how much.

Help, trying to use on linx12x64

That is strange. The Touchpad.ahk file must have gotten corrupted somehow. Please redownload the latest version here:

https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69722888

I'm using the Windows 10 build in unzip functionality to extract the Touchpad.ahk file and both zip archives are just fine.

Hi .oOOo, I hope you are still on this forum.

I have a Linx 12x64 and have tried smartkeys, and the russian tool to stop the maddening touchpad options, but they don;t work too well.

On my Linx 12x64 I cannot get that script to work. Well, when i say that, I can see a LControl event, but there is nothing saying wheel down if I pinch in.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks..

Touchscreen issues in Remix OS, Phoenix OS, android-x86

My Cube i7 Book works perfectly fine in Windows. But in Remix OS, Phoenix OS and android-x86 the touchscreen behaves pretty strange. Everytime I want to tap something, I first have to do a "wake" tap. Then everything works. But as soon as I don't use the touchscreen for 1-2 seconds, I need another "wake" tap before using it again. It seems like the touchscreen disables itself after not using it for 1-2 seconds. I have no clue why this happens or how to fix it.
(On my Cube i7 Stylus I don't have this problem at all!)

Any ideas?

I'm not too familiar with this device, but if it's anything like the millions of cheap Windows 10 tablets out there, getting the EFI shell means that your device either does not have a valid EFI System Partition or it exists, but you're missing bootx64.efi or bootia32.efi respectively, depending on your FIRMWARE's processor architecture, EFI-IA32 systems cannot run EFI-x64 executables so if the device is 32-bit and the OS you're attempting to load is 64-bit, you're doing it wrong. :)

My advice would be to reinstall your OS, either via the factory media, or via the Windows Media Creation Tool if your device boots from USB.

Have you attempted typing "exit" and then checking to see if it gives you a boot selection menu? Some EFI shells will exit to the boot menu that you'd normally get upon pressing F12. You may find that it simply lost the default boot selection for your device.(Ignore that) I believe I saw your post on the techtablets forum as well while looking for an OS image to link you to. I see in your TechTablet post that the menu only shows you the shell, meaning the device cannot find a valid EFI executable to boot... There was a post there that may assist: https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/windows-clean-install-guide-creator-update-any-language/

You can usually reinstall using the Microsoft Windows Media Creation Tool on another PC to prepare a thumbdrive boot media for your tablet. (this is how I clean install mine, as NuVision's OS image is all the way back at RTM 1503). You WILL need a secondary computer to preform these steps, and a USB flash drive. If the device has a SD card slot, you may be able to prepare the install media onto an SD card and insert it instead to boot from, depending on if the Cube Mix Plus supports booting from the internal SD card slot.

The Media Creation Tool will ALWAYS install the latest RTM version of Windows. You should always use it if you get stuck, however you may need to go out on a driver hunt if the mega link in that post above is no longer available. If you absolutely cannot find the drivers, I would recommend DriverPack as a last resort (https://drp.su/en) as it's a safe tool, and tends to match the hardware to the correct driver 90% of the time and has only mismatched a single driver on me for the trackpad/keyboard of my SO's device (it installed it as an ELAN Trackpad for some reason, and broke communications with the Synaptics touchpad in the machine until the proper driver was restored).

Edit: As the bootx64.efi file provided by Windows is technically under Microsoft's copyright, as it's the bootloader for Windows, I don't believe anyone can legally post that for you. You'll need to get it from a working PC (hint: cmd, mountvol /S to mount the EFI partition) or reinstall your OS using the above information. If your OS was Linux, then you're already sunk because the EFI file is either Grub, or the kernel itself via efishim.

Hi @Wootever, why did you delete the opening page of this thread? :-O
If I remember correctly, it contained useful info for everyone interested in these tablets.

In case you just wanted to discourage people to write you questions about these devices, you could just have mentioned this in OP with huge red letters on top...
Deleting everything seems as a very sad decision to me :(

About pogo pin connector Cube Mix Plus

About pogo pin connector
Hello,

does someone know which pinout the pogo pin connectors from Cube Mix Plus has?
Is it possible to add a usb port there?
I have done this on the Cube I7 Styles with success.

Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming it's rather similar if it's built closely to the TMAX Duo 10 (TM101W638L). You may wish to just take a multimeter to it and see what voltages you get. It should be rather similar to a real USB port since the pins only connect the keyboards to the devices (and the keyboard base acts as a straight USB Hub with a USB keyboard, ports and in my case, a fingerprint reader)

    Hi guys.
    Good news!
About a week ago i installed my LTE modem i the i9 and now ive done some testing, and it works! Im getting around 15-20mbps up/down, which i think is decent.
I dont know much about antenna placement, but i tried to place them so the battery wasnt in the way. if anyone knows anything specific about placement, please share :D

ive added some pictures and a link for the modem ive installed.

Note: i had some trouble with the placement of the simcard. make sure the chip is right above the connectors.

I've created a AutoHotkey script to modify what action the gestures on the Cube i9 keyboard cover trigger. This script will disable the "minimize all windows" trigger whenever you swipe in from the top of the touchpad. It will also change the other gestures to something more useful.

To use this script, you need to install AutoHotkey first. AutoHotkey can be downloaded from https://autohotkey.com/ . Do not install the 64-bit version, but choose "Custom Installation -> Unicode 32-bit" during installation. Next download the zip file and extract Touchpad.ahk. Double click the script to start it. When the script runs, a green icon with an H will be added to you notification area. You can stop the script by right clicking on the icon.

I am using the following setup. Feel free to modify the script to your preferences. The script is pretty universal so it might work for other touchpads as well.

Swiping in from the top of the touchpad -> Do nothing
Three finger swipe down -> Do nothing
Pinching in with two fingers -> Do nothing
Pinching out with two fingers -> Do nothing

Two finger swipe left -> History back in browser
Two finger swipe right -> History forward in browser

Three finger tap -> Middle mouse button click
Three finger swipe left -> Previous tab in browser
Three finger swipe right -> Next tab in browser

Three finger swipe up -> Home key
Swipe in from left edge -> Home key
Swipe in from right edge -> End key

    Known limitations of this script:

Because not all gestures generate unique key combinations, some useful gestures had to be disabled or changed as well. Gestures that share the same key combination and can not be changed independently:
Three finger swipe down / Swipe in from top edge of touchpad
Three finger swipe up / Swipe in from left edge of touchpad

In some keyboard configurations page zoom using a control+scrollwheel on your mouse does not work reliably. Use the right control key to prevent detection by this script.

Every now and then a modifier (alt/control/shift/windows) key can get "stuck" The wrong event will be send or detected. To get the keys "unstuck" again press down each modifier key once. If this doesn't solve the problem restart this script.

    Changelog:

    Version 1.0 / 2016-11-20
    Initial release

    Version 1.1 / 2016-11-27
Added "dumb mode" where the touchpad gestures key combinations are always converted, even when the input was from a keyboard
Added detection of 64-bit AutoHotkey. Show alert and activate dumb mode
Added code to prevent the Windows key getting stuck
Updated the comments for pinch in and pinch out
    Removed the unused MouseRegistered variable

For more information, check the README in the script.

; If you use a gesture on the touchpad, the keyboard cover will send both

       ; that gesture.

; If such a key combination is detected by this script, the script will

; changed to another key combination which will trigger the desired action.
