Current owner of Oneplus 5T, should I swap to the Razer

I currently own a 5T, which is great. But I seem to be experiencing some issues, bluetooth connectivity is sucky across a range of devices, my battery life is hit n miss, and also sometimes notifications don't come through.

I work for Three in the UK and I'm quite tempted by the Razer Phone.
Has anyone else here made the swap or have an opinion about why I should or shouldn't

Cheers

Hi there. I highly recommend you to try in person razer phone to see the snappiness what we miss all this years.i usually tend to buy Google pixel and Google nexuses before for the fast response time of the touch screen and frame rate . I manage to buy a razer phone from three last month , I am so happy with it .just try before to buy .
PS I use to use three sim because they are the only one with unlimited data. Now I switch to virgin unlimited minutes and SMS and data for £20 . My ping goes to 20 and the internet speed is 40mega per second always and I mean always.they got WiFi calling and signal is full always. Once I switch the Sims I got 7 hours screen on time . That bar for the mobile network at battery department is always green is not keep searching for cell towers .

1 get the razer phone from three witch come unlocked
2 get a virgin sim
= Super snappy phone top sound and frame rate + super fast internet always

I switched from the OnePlus 5, not the newer T version.

The main things I miss are:
1) the instant mute slider on the left of the phone
2) the better cameras. If OP5 was a 8, the razer is a 6 out of 10. Sometimes it shoots a 7-8 pic but things have got to be just right. (So I have hope that one day it will be vastly improved over the pixel camera apk)
3) the weight being lighter
4) the dark black's of amoled
5) the headphone jack. Dongles suck.
6) the front finger scanner. The Razer's is ok but you have to push it first to turn the phone on and then it scans.

What makes it totally worth it for me are:
1) the screen. It makes everyone jealous and rightfully so. It seems much faster than other Snapdragon 835 even the pixel 2xl, which my friend bought, just because the fast refresh. Clarity is fantastic. The brightness is not the worst like some people make it out to be and outdoors it seemed close to the pixel 2xl when my friends and I were doing phone wars.
2) the speakers are the best. PERIOD
3) expandability is nice but I honestly haven't used it yet
4) on 3D/cardboard it simply is the best experience I have had. The 120hz refresh didn't get me sick like on the OP5, pixel, etc phones that have 60hz. Now if we could only get daydream working. Razer missed an opportunity with being the best daydream experience on any phone. Isn't this supposed to be a gamers phone?

In summary, when I tried the OnePlus 5 just yesterday it felt slow and stuttery because of 60hz animations and syncing. He'll the Pixel 2 XL feels slow and stutters to my eye too now that I'm using the 120hz refresh. I'm much happier with the Razer over the OP5 bottom line. But take the other person's advice and try it before you buy it. These are my own findings and your needs and wants will most likely be different than mine.

Ahh I work for Three, I can get a discount on the phone itself and I don't pay for the Sim anyway so. I have tried it, unfortunately our demo units are quite restricted though. So its hard to properly use the phone. I live in the North East and Three has the best signal up here. :) I'm very tempted.

My phone is consistently on silent because I hate unexpected noise and yes the screen image quality on the Oneplus 5 phones are better, more vibrant and much brighter.
Honestly I'd be putting a lot of rest on Razer, they have a fantastic base here and they need to improve on it. The camera will get better with time as it uses a similar sensor to the S7, But the software is terrible currently.
I completely overlooked the potential of VR on this phone, thats a good shout, hopefully they can add it later on.

I spend a lot of time watching video from my phone, without headphones, breakfast, dinner and lunch breaks so the speakers are important to me. Hmmm, a lot to think about!

I have the razer and think that you really can't go wrong with either phone. The reason to switch would be if you game a lot or really want the forward facing speakers. I want a phone with front speakers or I would have gotten the 5t.
