custom bootloaders

got an unbrickable, was wondering if anyone has any info on custom BL's for samsung devices. i recall a post by adam with a few links but i cant for the life of me find it anywhere. i want to get in there and play around with the sequences and see what it would take to do a few things ive dreamed about.

moreso, has anyone had any sucess with a custom bootloader on our devices?

lol ive been looking for that thread and still cant find it. i think its time for a break. i know the damn thing exists because i bookmarked it before i went stupid and wiped my hdd to "start fresh", as i kept trying to tell myself.

Those aren't 'Custom' BL's, though they are from the Nexus S. It takes advantage of SMDK-USBDL tool that can be used when you have the UBMOD. It will wipe everything if you flash those. And the only way back is the Unbrickable ressurector and then Heimdall in Linux

i saw that thread, but no, its not that. there was a link within the op which im pretty sure was by adam with a display of something like "How to compile bootloaders for samsung devices" or something along those lines. the term samsung devices sticks out in my head, but its been quite some time since ive seen it. i will keep looking lol.
