Are you sure, you're using the correct file ? Because somebody reported the same issue but gets it eventually done after choosing the correct file.i tried sideloading it, but it stopped at 47% and showed failed error.

EDIT: If you're using LineageOS recovery, just proceed when signature verification thing prompts.

CrDroid + BitGApps Core: At AndroidSetup Wizard: Connect to wifi is impossible, after entering password nothing happens, continiue with Google Setup only possible with mobile data + something from SystemUpdate always fails and it causes massive battery drain and your MatLog will get spammed over with the same error. You can skip, if it doesn't connect to wifi and setup it later after entering homescreen. Now, after some testing, i don't think the issue is related to BitGApps, because i tried it with NikGApps --> Same Isssue, then i tried with a newer CrDroid Version with BitGapps --> Issue dissapeard.This is more likely to be fixed with next BiTGApps release. Thanks for the insight![]()

It's more like something with the AOSP code then the GApps itself. Adding ro.config.systemless=true line inside bitgapps.conf file and placing the file inside zip as will as the root of internal storage still gives the error "specified file not found in the archieve" while flashing with kernelSu.
Once "Don't optimize" you can see those apps in whitelist list. Run this command in terminal emulator, if rooted.I'll try DozeOff (from F-Droid) for a while and see how I go. I assume the rom would respond to the "adb shell dumpsys deviceidle disable" command?
