Yes and you are over manipulating the simplest thing.
Maybe I am, because reboot to recovery again is not required when installing any other gapps package. And I am not sure why it is important and what it changes to boot to recovery again after rom installation, because afaik it won't make any changes on system partition where rom is installed

I think I found a bug in Addon-Assistant_R9 (non-config). Here is what I did.
- Wiped phone.
- Installed Lineage 10 ROM, Rebooted
- Installed GA-R21-Arm64-10.0, Rebooted
- Installed BiTGApps-addon-assistant-R9 (non-config), Rebooted
- Checked phone.
It ran as expected but Assistant is nowhere to be found. I went into settings and checked ASSIST & VOICE INPUT but it isn't there. So I rebooted to recovery, reinstalled, watched for any errors and rechecked. Nothing different. Then I tried installing BiTGApps-addon-gboard-R9 and it is working as expected. So GBoard works but Assistant doesn't. Any ideas?

@TheHitMan By the way, do you open Google Assistant (R9) and break some of the telemetry, or does it work the same as always but packaged for BitGapps? Thanks for all your hard work.

I installed Lineage. I found the log files in internal memory, not in the Cache partition as the documentation states.

I am trying to follow the documentation which states to create a GitHub ticket.

I will do that, sorry to bother you. Thanks for your hard work.

In cache partition only recovery.log saved not log zip, for the case, if it is failed to process log zip.

Thank you for the hard work you put in here. I know it's annoying to answer everyone, but I would be very grateful if you could help me. I did a clean install and it all worked out very well. Therefore, at this point, congratulations for your good work. Now I wanted to do an update and I did something wrong. My steps during the update:
- boot into newest twrp
- flash LOS 17.1, after that Magisk v22.1 flashes automatically, reboot recovery
- flash bitgapps arm64 R21, reboot recovery
- flash addon arm64 R9, reboot recovery
- flash addon vanced R9
- wipe caches and reboot system
After rebooting I get always android.process.acore is terminated repeatedly.
Device is bq aquaris X
My guess is when I update dirty after flashing rom and Magisk and reboot to recovery I have to flash only BitGapps addon arm64 R9. Is that correct?

This error "android.process.acore"
generated because of SQLite optimization. In simple words, the database of given app is corrupted. You can clear app data and it will be fine.
I am working on this sqlite thing.

I think you're unaware of that, we do have OTA survival script. You don't have to re-install BiTGApps package again.

Conflict with safetynet patch and privileged permissions patch is already explained in documentation.

Yes but you wrote:
Since this type of functionality is not available, you will need to re-install BiTGApps after installing OTA update.
That is only for safetynet patch, if you use. Also applied to privileged permissions patch but for A-only devices.

EDIT: Seems likes you have mixed documentation stuff here and there. Each section in documentation has nothing to do with each other. Rather conflicts.

I will go for another clean flash. By the next update I won´t flash gapps again. But then safetynet maybe won´t pass!?

I succeeded in Shipping GAPPS Build of Crdroid With OTA That Too Unofficial Build.
I simply used gapps from arrowos 13.1 for Android 13

Just Remove The Overlays From The ArrowGMS Packages As crDroid Have Them Already Defined.

My Build Is Running Up And Even OTA Worked Flawlessly!
    I am building crDroid A14 (v10.4 it worked in v10.2) not A13.

I have already built A13 (for Google Pixel 4a sunfish) with gapps, and distribute it here on XDA.

I also have a release with GApps of crDroid v10.2 (which is A14). However, when I did a resync for crDroid v10.4, the method I used (source from Bliss) failed to build.

ooops: just realised this is the BitGApps thread, not the open GApps thead. My Bad.

    Announcement

So i released two updates in a row v3.1 & v3.2 to fix that broken audio on older Platform. But it turns out, it is still there. With the help of @super14253, we figured out what causing this and new build will be released soon with proper fixes. All thanks to @super14253 for his time and efforts. Apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Since BitGApps V2.8 I got a Sound-Problem (No Ringtone, SMS- nor Notification Sound is played when selected in the Settings ans also not when the OS is running).
    I get only sound-confirmatin when using Vol-Up/-Down.
This also applies to the new v3.2 :(

My Phone is a Samsung Note 2 GT-N7100 with Android 7.1.2 (LineageOS 14.1)
    Please read #Post1237.

    Hi All,

Welcome to the official BiTGApps Release thread!

BiTGApps support additional features like Battery Optimization for Google Play Services and its component. Smart Space feature allows re-flashing of BiTGApps even with insufficient space in system.

    About The BiTGApps Project
BiTGApps is a Google Apps Package with Minimal installation. Minimal, but still provide proper Google Services functionality. Even the variants like Mini, Omni and Roar which has extras but still comes with relevant Google Apps, not to fill your device system space with unneeded Google stuff. Simplicity, but straight to the point is what BiTGApps all about. The idea behind this project is having a Google Apps Package with relevant stuffs and no bloats at all. It does not focus on having several Package Variations unlike other Google Apps Packages.
    Features of BiTGApps
    • All Platforms and All Android Versions are Supported
    • Minimal Build with Package size less than 80MB
    • Enabled Doze Mode for Google Play Services
    • It comes in four variants with different set of Apps

The latest builds of BiTGApps for Android can be downloaded from the BiTGApps Homepage.
Additional information is available at the website.

Please don't publicly mirror the Prebuilt Packages instead link users to Homepage, to ensure that users will always be directed to the very latest version of the BiTGApps.
