Hi Everyone,
I'm am unsure if this is going to interest anyone, but on the off chance that I am able to give a fellow Nexus Owner an idea, or even the slightest bit of inspiration, then this post was well worth it.
Basically, I went hundy on my OEM case (that came with the phone) using a can of Night Shades headlight tint. I remember the result on my Mazda 6 tail light and LOVED it, until the local law enforcement decided they were unhappy with my choice of modification. Anyhow, I was expecting the same result on my Nexus case and it turned out unexpectedly different and surprisingly striking.
It seems there was some kind of reaction between the paint and the soft plastic material used for the case, see my attachments for a bunch of pictures. Looks ike dinosaur eggs. Not that I am reptile expert.
Has anyone out there done any other mods to their cases? Any feedback or ideas?
